However that is the one infiltrator which has a genuine reason to use bonus power, so its no big deal.

I'd take the bonus power even if she had a shotgun bonus.

Incidentally that's perhaps her better build...

Seriously, when was the last time you saw someone take a high grade sword to someone's throat and see them only "stagger" as if hit by a bat in the face?
Make her heavy melee something to be feared instead of slightly annoyed by.

She's a sniper rifle infiltrator, just like most other infiltrators. There's no reason not to take a sniper on this character. The sniper rifle bonus suits her perfectly, that's by far the most effective all round build for her, not melee. The krogan warlord is the only character in the game who truly specialises in melee. She's very well rounded, doesn't just specialise in melee, that's just a supplementary thing for her, yes she has great melee, but then again she also has tactical cloak and +25% sniper damage. For me, she has always been about weapon damage all the way. She's an infiltrator.
Kook. That is an opinion and to top it off it's your opinion. Stop projecting it as fact.

I frankly find using a shotgun on her completely redundant. The only reason I do is the omni-blade provides the most powerful melee boost available. Shotguns are most effective in close range. In close range a melee focused build should be using melee. Your weapon should be something that allows for effective combat at ranges much further than your melee will allow safely.

When Earth DLC was new, I thought the N7 Piranha was designed to be for her, actually.

I take the Talon with AP in case a Guardian turns on me and for shooting bosses at mid range.
If I was going to use weapons as a primary source of damage I would probably go wth the standard sniper build

She would be a great candidate for a pistol bonus infiltrator .
Would certainly give me cause to consider a different build to the double SS bonus power set up.

I'd love to see that type of infiltrator with a Paladin, Executioner or Arc Pistol.
Charge Arc Pistol.. cloak.. release shot.. Shadow Strike or Electric Slash. Ohh yeah baby..

Perhaps. Yet shotguns like Wraith, Claymore, Crusader, Venom, GPS, Graal - even Disciple - are perfectly capable at mid-to-long range. Wait, that's more than half of the shotguns!
