She's a sniper rifle infiltrator, just like most other infiltrators. There's no reason not to take a sniper on this character. The sniper rifle bonus suits her perfectly, that's by far the most effective all round build for her, not melee. The krogan warlord is the only character in the game who truly specialises in melee. She's very well rounded, doesn't just specialise in melee, that's just a supplementary thing for her, yes she has great melee, but then again she also has tactical cloak and +25% sniper damage. For me, she has always been about weapon damage all the way. She's an infiltrator.
She's a space-ninja who occasionally shoots things. The majority of her abilities revolve around her sword and melee attacks. Choppity-stab is her speciality. I'm sure there are folks who can make her shine with a sniper rifle, but those same folks would probably make any character shine with a sniper rifle. There are better snipers among the Infiltrator class, but no one in the Infiltrator class stabs people as well as she does.

The Krysae Tech Burst build absolutely wrecks Geth, but I had trouble getting Disruptor ammo to prime consistently.

I still use a build that Inconsistent Seas gave me months ago. I can't stand anything else. I rarely bring out the Shadow, in any case. She is hands down the worst kit in the game for me.

Shadow Strike wasn't working for me. It either didn't work at all or it got me killed when I needed it most. Its not worth the points unless it has its Drain evo, at least in my opinion and its too much of a hassle making it work. So I skipped it entirely.
I can treat the Kishock as a shotgun in close quarters and a sniper at range.

You shouldn't be using it on any enemy that can already see you, and especially not just to restore shields.ArgentN7 wrote...

An enemy will always complete its attack cycle. If you SS while it is attack you, it isn't going to stop attacking you. You need to play smart using SS. Shadow is one of the best risk/reward kits, but you learn to manage the risk.

Shadow Strike is great on Gold and lower, but not Platinum. It's too slow, it can't even hit Atlases or Geth Primes sometimes and I end up mashing the button several times to get it to work. Gold I can deal with because there isn't much threat other than the Faction bosses, besides Phantoms.

Does a maxed out SS with consumables OHKO elites on Plat? It's the elites who score the most kills while everyone dances around with the bosses anyway so if SS can OHKO them it's actually a decent way to whittle the spawn budget by cutting down phantoms, dragoons, marauders, centurions and captains. (non-possessed ofc. their glowy eye selves are unholy creatures)

It can if you spec right, except for possessed demons ofc, but that is why you follow up with other attacks
It cannot hit atlases under any conditions due to a bug, and occasionally has trouble with pathing to other bosses

Drellfiltrator even has pistol weight reduction evo in his passive, which is incredibly useless.

Pistol boosts would be best left on the drell and asari. Fits well with their 'hit fast, hit hard and run away' playstyle they do best.

I don't really disagree, but sometimes it may allow you to match your power recharge with your weapon's reload cycle, and it that case it can actually be worth it.
