Can somebody help my fix my problem, because durning the quest inside the drow city you get set to kill and a deep gnome patrol and return with a helmet. And after I retrieved the helmet from the deep gnome patrol leader and delivered it back to Phaere, i was told to meet here in her quarters at the female fights society, but the text restarted and now see says to go get it again, but my journal is updated and the helmet is not in my inventory is there a way to reset the quest?

You could reset the relevant variables, but it would probably be easier to just console in the helmet and try giving it to Phaere again. The item reference for the helmet is MISCA6.
That assumes you know how to use the console. You need to have cheats enabled and then open the console. the relevant command would then be
CLUAConsole:CreateItem("MISCA6")
