Fair enough. The elemental trope can get a bit boring every now and then. Maybe they will expand upon the glyph tree in this installment. We have already seen ice glyphs in the PAX demo.

Elemental magic is a staple of fantasy RPGs. So, it's boring.

When I first began Origins, I'd decided that fire was too clichéd, so I named my character "Tesla" (pictured) and focused on electrical damage. Of course, that was before I found out how much fun it was to knock enemies down with Grease before lighting them up with fire. I still have a soft spot for the elegance/spectacle of lightning, though.

 I love them all.

Fire is badass.
Ice is just amazing.
Lightning is pretty awesome too.
Nature is sadly overlooked, but awesome in it's own right.
Force and wind are just plain fantastic.
Mind is great for controlling the battlefield.



I'll go for aggromancy though.

Wear juggernaut armor and draw 100% of the attention whilst your two mages and one rogue do all the killing.

Tzeenatch magic is the best kind of magic. The very essence of change wielded as a weapon against your enemies, what is not to love?
