I bought a PC version of the Dragon Age. Since it was pre-order I have got this nice Blood Dragon Armor and a promise that I will be able to unlock it in the Mass Effect 2. But I start to wonder if this 'bonus' is platform specific ... I am going to get Xbox version of the Mass Effect 2. Would I be able to unlock Blood Dragon armor on my Xbox then or will I have to get PC version of the Mass Effect 2 to enjoy this benefit?

It's not platform specific. I haven't read a dev post of exactly what will happen, but they have stated multiple times you can have it on whichever platform you like.



Likely, it'll give it to whichever platform you associate with your Social account first.

You know, despite that the BDA is geared toward biotic users (or Vanguards to be more specific) I will still probably use this armor for my non Biotic characters.

My Dragon age armor is only listed on PC on "Your registered game promotions"

Only the dagger "the edge" is on all platforms.

I bought the digital deluxe version of Dragon age

BDA is only for my x box also...nothing about having it for pc or anything else.

When you play me2 id assume it will ask for your ea account, then you put it in, it'll see you have the armor on your account and grant you it. It is multi-platform.

The Dragon Age Armor is redeemable on Xbox if you have the PC version of Dragon Age: Origins.

Yeah. That's the Dragon Age Blood Dragon Armour. Complete with the Dragon Age picture of it and the Dragon Age description of it.

Mass Effect 2 stuff isn't integrated with that system yet. Just like people who've already got their preorder armour codes from their retailers can't use them yet. Just like the Mass Effect Galaxy bonus hasn't appeared there (which, although it's not confirmed that it will, it should, considering Dragon Age: Journey's bonuses did).

Either there'll be a selection screen put up for you to pick a platform for your ME2 BDA, or it'll automatically appear under the PC and Xbox headings, or it'll appear under whichever platform you first log into your EA account through ME2 on.

Chill, you'll have it.

ANSWER

Yes. Purchase of Dragon Age: Origins for PC, Xbox 360, or PS3 entitles you to first-purchase redemption of the Blood Dragon Armor for both Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 on any available platform. You can use the armor now in Dragon Age: Origins and in Mass Effect when it launches in early 2010.



Physical copies of the disc will include a "Rave" card with the requisite code and download instructions. Players using a digital copy will have codes e-mailed to them by whichever e-retailer they used to purchase the game.



After utilizing the code, the entitlement granting you the armor will be applied to your EA account. As such, be sure that you register Mass Effect 2 to the same account you used to register Dragon Age: Origins

Blood Dragon Armor in Dragon Age was pretty kick-ass I thought.
