Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon won best DLC.

That's terrible.

Can't say I agree with that, because Citadel was almost perfect.

Citadel was perfect. It should have won.

Wasn't legit considering suicide, I was joking :L

And Bioware obviously does have details. They have enough details to have started creating concept art for areas and actual internal gameplay demos.

What a HORRIBLE show. HORRIBLE!!! Joel seemed BORED, which is not a good schtick to run for 3 hours. They had NO audience to give any energy to the presentation (even Attack of the Show always had enough staff on hand (and mic'ed) to applaud the guests).

A couple of interesting trailers separated by boring/annoying "banter", and a 15 minute "concert" I had no interest in.

Liked the Titanfall "commercials", even though they won't make me rush out to buy an XBox One.

I really, really don't blame him. There was nothing exciting about this show and he probably knew ahead of time.

All true, and I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but...  The man is a professional, and he's supposed to TRY no matter how lame the venue, audience, or material.  Kevin Pereira would have made an effort, and you'd see he knew what he was up against and you'd be ROOTING for him.  Joel made me feel disgusted with him for his lack of effort.

Bioware could have had a 10 second trailer showing the title of the next Mass Effect, and they would have won the show for me. Heck, they could have just shown off some Dragon Age gameplay, and I would have been happy.

I'm disappointed we didn't see anything at all from Bioware, because it seems like a wasted opportunity to me.

To be completely honest I saw the entirety of EA's E3 show this year JUST to see that DA:I teaser and boy was I dissapointed. It was the most vague and underwhelming teaser i'd seen in quite a while and I came out thinking "Wasn't worth it"

Honestly I hope NextME teaser will pop out of nowhere one day so I don't end up anticipating it. In any event I really doubt it would've won the show with some of the other trailers that did raise eyebrows in VGX like that indie space game. That was incredible.

I don't even care about teasers. Never bothered much with them before either. I'd just like to know a premise and where things are going. Like what's on their mind in a very general way. We all knew that with previous games, to an extent.

I've not played Far Cry ever but my son says that Blood Dragon was a stand alone game. Why would it be up against DLC then?

Well it was a good DLC

I still think calling Blood Dragon "DLC" is strange given its completely standalone nature, but it certainly deserves some kind of recognition.

That wasn't what I was getting at. He was telling me that he doesn't own Far Cry 3 but was able to play Blood Dragon and it was 9 hours long. A stand alone game. Not DLC. So I was just confused as to why it was in the DLC category, that's all.

Not sure really, but it is technically an offshot if the main game and used mostly FC3 assets

I liked Far Cry 3 well enough. Perhaps I should purchase it.

Well... I loved FC3: Blood Dragon so much that I mixed it up with ME3 into a friggin trailer.

Kudos to Ubisoft and the Blood Dragon team, here's to Blood Dragon II.

Your video had more fun in it in 2 minutes than VGX had in the whole 3 hours. Thanks for posting the link!

One of the few bright spots.

I REALLY want to learn more about this one. And freaking put it on a Kickstarter so I'll toss $$$$.

So I heard there was a Tomb Raider announcement and went in expecting a sequel trailer, got a next gen port instead. Really the only thing catching my eye is Tim Shafer's Broken age.

Personal Yays (as in I want more info/to buy it):
-Witcher 3
-No Man's Sky
-Broken Age
-South Park: The Stick of Truth

Nays (as in they might be great but I just have no interest for affinity for it):
-Thief
-The Division
-Donkey Kong
-Upgraded Tomb Raider (whatever, I have it on PC)

Maybes (we'll see, but I'm not glued to info about it and even if I get it, may be on discount/used):
-Titanfall
-Dying Light
-Game of Thrones (Telltale)
-Tales from the Borderlands (Telltale)
-Destiny
-Quantum Break

I agree, but it's a massive undertaking. I hope the game jumpstarts and sells well from the beginning so that they can work on patches, add-ons and such. Otherwise I feel it will be way less diverse and immersive than it claims to be.

Anyways. As far as the big company's go, Ubisofts "The Division" has been my most anticipated game since it premiered back at E3.

The show was absolutely terrible, but my god did Joel McHale make it watchable. It was seriously the funniest 3 hours I've had this year. Best Host ever.

And some people are hating on Joel for his performance. Saying he was rude and unfunny. These people obviously don't understand comedy and the fact that it wasn't Joel trying to be funny, it was Joel giving zero craps about the show. He was being ridiculous and bashing on an award ceremony that is unanimously known for being a giant piece of crap by gamers everywhere. And we finally get a host that makes a mockery of it, exposes the corporate shills, and is trying to have fun in his own way, and some people are getting up in arms about it.

People need to learn to laugh at themselves. The world needs to be ridiculous once in a while.

Yeah. Doesn't seem to have much to do with the actual story.

Do you believe in the Indoctrination Theory?
