Beating Ser Cauthrien on nightmare!

My most intense moment isn't so much in the game itself, but the seconds afterwards.

First time I entered a fighting game tournament at a con. I was so confident, so certain I'd easily get into the top 8 since I could beat my friends so easily back home. I lost extremely hard early on in the tournament, fighting a player who was using one of the characters least suited to battle mine (I really, really had the advantage on paper). There was so much I had yet to learn, so much I could do.

This happened during a dark time in my life, and the burning desire to get better at the game truly helped me cope as well as spark my waning interest in video games all over again. Reading forums every day to learn about new techniques in the game, trying it all out in the evenings and reporting my own findings back to the community. Damn that time in my life was good =') All of it because I lost so badly in a tournament I didn't care about.

the dream scenes in ME3 were the most intense ones I can remember, they worked very well to invoke an emotion reaction in the player.

First one to come to mind is from X-Wing Alliance. You exit light-speed to find yourself at an Imperial firing range, in between four Star Destroyers and their targets. Probably the biggest "OH CRAP" I've ever had in gaming.

Most intense moment? All of Fallout: New Vegas' Dead Money DLC. The whole thing. I don't know how I made it through that, tbh. I could have built a wall with all the proverbial bricks I shat.

And Deathclaws swarms in The Lonesome Road. *shivers*

I was playing Fallout New Vegas.

Playing on very hard and on hardcore mode.

On some missions for the Brotherhood of Steel.

Stumble across hives and hives of cazadors.

Cazador: It's mission is to mess crap up wherever it goes. It goes wherever it damn well pleases to. You cannot fight this thing. The cazador is never ever, under any circumstances, alone. It is always accompanied by other, even more catastrophic and antipathetic cazadors.
All of which are, in turn, drafted by even more of these soulless beasts.
It does not pollinate things.
It does not make honey.
It is not a bee.

Boone was the first to go.

The sun had vanished.

Thus more and more cazadors charged in.

Shadows surrounded me.

Stingers bit into my flesh, every part of it at once.

Their little mouths dug in deep, burrowing through to my very existence.

Scraping me from the inside. I was being torn apart. The pain was unbearable.

I lost control.

My mouth shot open. My sense dissolved. My brain went wild.

The last thing I heard, before madness and the beasts consumed me, was the dark billing with my anguished, uncontrollable death howls.

Screams in the dark.

WWE 2009

Me VS My Brother..

Shawn Michaels (me) VS Undertaker(him)

We kept hitting each other and building momentum and doing finish moves but then we always got out.

I remember that he gave me a Chokeslam and then Tombstone PileDriver. 1,2,thr- I got out.
Then, I gave him a Sweet Chin Music and elbow drop. He got out.
Then he gave me a Hell's Gate. I got out.
Then I gave him a submission. He got out.
Then I gave him a Tombstone(by stealing his finisher). He got out
Then he gave me another hell's gate. I got out
Then he gave me a Chokeslam and a Last Ride. I got out.

Well, let me stop here... We kept doing this for 1 hour and a half. Turns out I won by Submission.

I had a problem in my fingers and hands for 2 days after that.

I remember that. Saw it once.
But didn't remember the words correctly.
Those things are the devil.

The best way to "deal" with cazadores:

Have anti-venom, a flamer, and an anti-materiel rifle handy, just in case.

VATS+VATS accuracy perk for your weapon specialty+Weapon with low AP costs+Aim for head if accuracy high enough or aim for wings=Cazador dead or crippled and ripe for making dead in out of VATS combat. Low AP costs assures multiple Cazadors can be taken care of.

Alternatively, shotgun.

Seriously, the latest Fallout installments LOVE shotguns. They solve EVERYTHING!

I usually just shoot them with a Bush Gun. Once you take out a wing, they're done. Of course there's always a second, third, fourth, and even sometimes fifth one, so I try to pull them individually.

Pretty much every Dota 2, LoL, and HoN game.

These games make your typical multiplayer FPS like Counter Strike, Call of Duty, and Quake 3 seem tame.

Takes forever if there's a swarm, but yeah.

If I'm actually in the mood to do some killing, I typically go for the wings.  Headshots never seemed effective to me.
