Men will drop to their knees, pleading for their lord, before aught else!

Funniest gif I've seen in awhile.Image IPB

There was a mod that removed cliff racers from the game, top of the loading order.

Reaching the bonfire at the top of Sen's Fortress for the first time while getting invaded and being a noob at the game.
so many ways to die

Edit: I forgot this fun level. Who needs light when you are exploring a treacherous underground meatgrinder of hopeless dispair?

The betrayal of Duncan and the King in DAO; one of the few times I have been somewhat surprised in a game. Also the haunting narration of Hespith in the Deep Roads; quite eerie.

I thought of another one. That room is Resident Evil where the ceiling comes down on you and all the doors are locked.

If you don't know what you're doing you are ****ed.

1) Dead Space 2 -when I had to put a needle in Isaac's eye

2) Tomb Raider- Lara climbing the high as hell control tower. And reaching the top.

3) the last of us- carrying Ellie while escaping the hospital

Clutching a platinum wave as a Volus in ME3 multiplayer. Clutching is when the other 3 members if your squad have fallen.

I have to say many moments in Dark Souls come to mind. I will mention five:

- Trudging through the Depths to the bottom of Blighttown swamp. Dreary, dank, dark and death. Curses, poison and maggots in your brain.

- Gwyn, Lord of Cinder. The Flame fades, but try getting a breather in this fight. Under attack relentlessly.

- Ornstein and Smough. Intense and grand, this boss battle is one for the ages. Very, very challenging.

- Ascending Sen's Fortress's traps, snakes and basement of tar with brutal titanite demons.

- Demon Ruins were atmosperic. Its atmoshere literally made me vomit. Or maybe it was that steak I ate. Or both.

Honorable mention to Chaos Witch Quelagg.

I accidentally wondered into Deathclaw Sanctuary in Fallout 3 at level 2. I was a Fallout noob. Only had BB gun ammo. This intensity, however, ended swiftly and absolutely. :(

Ouch! Going from radroaches to deathclaws is not an ideal baddie progression. After the hated cazadores in NV, I fear what will get thrown at us in F4.

I don't get why people are so afraid of cazadores. Yes they're dangerous, but shotguns are a man's best friend. Also, use VATS on their wings; crippling a wing will force them to crawl slowly.

WCW/nWo Revenge. When DDP gets a special, he can hit the Diamond Cutter from so many different ways. Just when you think you're in a safe position...BAM!!!

Also on the original Mario Kart when the cpu gets a red shell. The game is so cheap that in a way it was Dark Souls before Dark Souls. It is supposed to be a racing game but it is really just the cpu ganging up on you to make sure you lose by coming in last place. The only time the cpu hits each other is by accidentally missing you. When the cpu gets a red shell they save it just for you, and they rarely miss.

Ugh. I kind of knew that was coming from YouTube and/or some "scariest moments in gaming" article, but I assumed it would be a cutscene. Then I discovered I actually had to *aim* the thing.
