QFT, although feeding friends works too!!

Playable as any combination of Mass Effect races and classes.
Bigger weapon loadouts (and mods therein) than almost any other fps.
RPG power usage that has synergy with other powers (combos and consumables).
Co-op emphasis on teamwork rather than douchebaggery and soloing (sometimes less so of the latter).
Quarian hips and Fury ass.
Biotic explosions.
The Black Widow.
Despite the servers and the stunlocks, pretty refined for a standalone fps.

I play it to feel like a decent sniper, to run around and blow stuff up, and to feel like being part of a team again.
Hard to do that in battlegrounds these days.

I think a lot has to do with the fact that it's a Mass Effect game. If this game was just called "Space Battle" or "No Time for Aerial Bombardment" there would probably only be about 100 people still playing it.
