Platinum in groups, gold for soloing. A couple of days ago, I managed to complete 8 hours worth of platinum with only one wipe on wave 10 devices, all the while everyone in the lobby was trying out different kits and kinda gimping themselves. Even platinum can become too easy now. Furthermore, gold with a full team of good players is just a joke. It's why I'm starting to like duos and solos now...

 

I remember when I used to like duos and in particular, solos...

 

 

 

Still, gold can be so boring in a full team of good players, but thankfully, it's really hard to get a full team nowadays and if I do, randomizer games usually make it more interesting. I still prefer platinum though...

Gold for PUGs and Platinum with friends.

Although Bronze solos can be fun. You can screw around as much as you want and you know you're not gonna die. All-grab matches* are fun, although kinda tedious at times when they Just. Won't. Take. Cover.

Bronze by far. Never gets old watching people screw around there, because they just started playing. Nothing makes me laugh, than to hear one of those newbies squeal like a pig, when they are confronted with hundreds of Brutes, Husks, or Praetorians.

Never seen this? It's some weird glitch that basically messes up the spawns. So, instead of one Brutes...they keep on spawning. It's crazy...

Nope, it also happens with hosts that are broke. It's a rare thing, though. Happens in like 2% of the total games that you'll play. Don't worry. Just be prepared when it hits ya. Bring the big guns!

At first Silver for a very long time, then Gold for a very short while and then ultimately platinum (I know..its the same progression for most).

 

The thing is, I prefer both Gold and Platinum depending on how I feel and depending on the group I am with. I mostly prefer Platinum with more experienced players as it gives us all a chance to go around and have fun as opposed to Gold where there are not enough characters for 4 good players to deal with...(there should have been a level between Gold and Platinum...just a thought)

 

When playing pugs I prefer Gold simply because pug platinum has been difficult for me at times if I am not hosting. My connection is very good so when I host its usually a good platinum pug for all but on other connections I have had some terrible games with so many players jumping in and out, many players unequipped, etc. 

 

In short, Platinum with friends, groups, and for challenges. Gold, for pug-ing and just playing in God mode mentality and roflstomp all things.

I hear Quartz difficulty is really pretty. On PC, I would really like to try Diamond difficulty..the videos looked fun.

I like gold, because good credits and i can contribute just enough to think I'm helping even though I'm just getting carried until I own enough good stuff.
