Folks can wear whatever banner they want.

It's the annoying kids and crappy players that try and lord it over my head that bug me.

Some hipster losers absolutely hate to promote and so that means that they can never have the BOTB banner, so they throw dirt at users who have the banner.

It says "Best of the Best" on it, so it doesn't matter if you had to "grind" for it and "deserve it". If it had said "I like Commander Shepard Just Like You" on it and still had the same grinding requirements and the exact same BroShep and FemShep pics the whiners would suddenly stop caring because it's nothing special anymore.

But nope, it says "Best of the Best" so they assume one of two things, or both. That is 1) You're supposed to be a super elite player whose never going to die on Platinum in a year worth of playing non-stop, and 2) If you're using the banner it means that you're the one who thinks is superior to others therefor you're an ****.

It's like "oh look, that Best of the Best guy is playing a melee QFE, WTF, and he's BOTB?!", or "LOL that BOTB guy just died on Wave 1 hahahahaha!". It doesn't matter if we have to grind or if we think we deserve it, for in the minds of the almighty BOTB whiners we're Best of the Best indeed, thus nothing will happen to us and we'll play with kits and builds that only the whiners themselves would approve because it satisfies them.

Bottom line do what you want, use any banner you want and ignore the whiners.

I'm sorry, but that banner tells me that you're skilled. If you

When someone should wear BotB - 
(1) They completed all of the required challenges to obtain it.
(2) They want to.

Your interpretation of what it means is irrelevant.
