I love my femshep banner, but never wear it for the reasons Lyrandori explained above. I wish it said "dedicated" or "steadfast" instead of "Best of the Best."

Because it's ugly. I don't really care, but I have noticed bad attitudes from quite a few players who have it on.

Haven't worn it 'cause I'm really scrubby and just don't feel like a top tier player. Sort of like how I don't wear the sniper banner -- I can't snipe worth beans. My challenge points have gotten really extreme, too (33k = 588 global rank) -- wish this wouldn't show (but keep playing on the same account 'cause -- UR weapons!)

Edit: I don't "throw dirt" on anyone wearing it; actually glad to see someone with BOTB in a lobby.

One guy said me that he hates BOTB players because they outscore him.
After that he nuked wave 11 to get his 1st place back.

Not so much BotB banner users, but any time I saw someone with something like that, I'd either speak or send them a message telling them (also stuff like when ULM was bugged back in the day), around half the time I got a reply being like "Oh, thanks for letting me know", then the other half would be "Oh yeah, I know" and then they would just leave the attachment on. If you "know", why do you have it on to begin with, and why do you STILL have it on? These weren't players that had no other attachments, either.

Regarding BotB, I don't care of they wear the banner, good for them if they got it, but I always presume since they've solo'd gold at least twice, they should be able good players, which isn't always the case unfortunately.

If I see someone who recently unlocked it (usually about 1900 N7 and 18k CP), it makes me smile a little, because I remember how it felt to get it after all that grinding.

If I see someone who has obviously played for a while, I laugh. 9 times out of 10 they're using something unnecessarily OP (e.g. IA4 on a Reegar AIU, or AC5 on a Harrier TGI) for Gold, and preform terribly with it.

Eh, those names wouldn't make people want to get the title as much, you'd need something with the word "Hero" in there, or "Savior of the universe", something along those lines.

I don't care who uses what. But since some of you are talking about ugly banners, the banner from the last operation is ugly. The one with all the characters on it, you can't hardly even see them, it looks like garbled crap.

Wouldn't it be funny if the game mechs worked like real life and you shot  the crusader with the choke it would tear up the gun and only do 1/2 damage...

The fan made banners are just so damn awesome looking. Even if I had botb I would probably stick with the drell biotic banner, the grunt banner, or the mathemagician banner that looks like something from deus ex.

Most botb players I run into aren't very good players. But they can wear the banner for all I care. I won't, it's hideous.
