at the end of tonight's episode they used the main theme music from Mass Effect 3 at the end of the episode, it was used really well, to sum up Brody's Arc, if you guys have showtime, watch the end.

I don't like it.

Granted, I don't watch that show at all...but that music is ME3...it's sacred. Just like I think the music of LOST should never be used elsewhere.

That's just my opinion of course.

That's not "ME3's music" , that's Two Steps From Hell. For those unaware , the actual music used in ME3 is Two Steps From Hell's property and their producer's not by any chance Bioware's. So , naturally you will hear it everywhere. From Football Stadiums , TV Shows , Movies and even other games. I'm surprised it actually took you so long to realise TSFH's music is played everywhere.

Heart of Courage by Two Steps From Hell for example was used in some of the following :

Avatar
Camelot TV Series
Chronicles of Narnia
The Pacific
Bernabeu Stadium usually in the semi finals on Real Madrid's matches before and during the breaks.

It was also featured in a National Geographic documentary and even in the USA olympics coreography.

Two Steps From Hell did not compose "Leaving Earth." Clint Mansell composed it. Furthermore, the other music in ME3 (and the rest of the trilogy) is not from Two Steps From Hell. That music is not their property.

Two Steps From Hell did compose the trailer music for the Mass Effect 2 and 3 launch trailers, however—Heart of Courage and Protector's of the Earth are the property of Two Steps From Hell and are used frequently in other media.

Pretty sure Showtime has a legal team to keep them from doing something stupid like using a copyrighted song without permission.

Yeah, uh. No. Notice the complete lack of any "Two Steps From Hell" on ME3's soundtrack.

Two Steps From Hell's music was used in launch trailers, nothing more. That being said, I seriously doubt Homeland stole the song used in ME3; they likely paid due fees in order to use it and then, well, used it. Still doesn't change it from being a song originally made solely for ME3 by its composers.

I'll go ahead and assume you didn't actually click the video to hear the music, because most people who aren't properly informed on a subject aren't so absolute in the way they write their analysis of it. (Or, at least, you shouldn't.)

Zuzu Mumu, you made a boo-boo

And, I did not like the use of the song in that trailer unfortunately.

I just saw the preview for the season finale and I rushed here like a dog with his tongue hanging out.
I'm happy that Clint Mansell is getting some measure of exposure from a TV show of such high acclaim.

That track never fitted Mass Effect to begin with. No wonder it works for everything when it doesn't have any personality.

Yeah, they have ruined the series for me! What the hell were they thinking? I feel abused!

I regret even following Homeland for 3 seasons now...
