Admittedly, I always sort of liked Leliana, but on my first playthrough I chose Morrigan, but eventually, she turned me down when I accidentally mentioned ideas of love. I turned to Leliana as a result and as I learned more about her, I grew to like her more. But here, my initial liking turned to genuine love for the character, she seemed so much more alive and real within your Fanfic, Sisimka.

I have just finished reading through this all (well, the fanfiction - had to skim the comments) and I have to say, especially as a big Leliana fan, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would cite numerous specifics about why I had such a blast going through this, but, alas... Reading it has kept me up several hours later than I originally intended. I must now make off for bed.
Keep up the excellent work, Sisimka.

Valen: As tempting as it was to set Alistair up with Celene I didn't want to diverge too far from the direction I hope and expect Bioware will take. It would be nice if my stories could sit in between their games and expansions as little adventures in the 'meantime'.
Ranger: I'm glad you enjoyed my story. Sorry to have kept you up so late! Maybe the extra time with Leli was worth it?

Thank you Mastice.
I have started a new thread for my short stories which can be found here.
I do have another longer story in mind (featuring Aedan and Luke this time, but including the other companions in their respective roles), but I haven't finished plotting it. I will link to it from here and there when I start posting that one.
As usual, my stories will also be posted on FF.net.
Thanks again to every one that read and commented!

I haven't finished this story yet. I'm only at chapter 18 if I recall correctly.
Anyhow, here is my commentary:
I know she is probably going to hate me for saying this, but I actually think that some of the plot twists and emotional scenes from this story are better than those in Dalish Ranger's 'Seasons of Love'. Examples are Dalilah Howe, Aedan's wedding and Aedan's 'death'.
Because the scope and scale of this story is also a lot larger than SOL, and doesn't follow the main storyline of the videogame, I became more immersed in the story than I would have otherwise.
All in all, a good story. And sorry to Dalishranger, but I like this story a bit more than I do yours.

Why would I hate you? It IS a fantastic story, and it's not like fanfiction writing's a competition.

Thanks so much, Lintanis! I don't know how you found this one, it's been buried a while! But I'm glad you liked it so much, it's still my fave fic, even if the writing is horrible and the grammar, well, let's just leave that one alone, shall we?
I hope to work some of these elements into my own Awakening story, but it won't be a long one as I don't feel the need to cover all the completely unrelated quests the expansion tossed our way. I'll deal with Oghren, Nate and Anders.
Thanks again for your comments!

So, I too, have only just discovered this amazing story Sisi and it was truly moving. Like many of those reading this, I'm a huge Leliana fan and reading this brought a tear to my eye at the end. Well done! I only hope, should I chose to take up the pen once more, that I can make such golden words flow from it as you did.

Wow, someone else finding buried treasure, eh? More thanks for more kind words! I still miss writing this one... but more adventures for Aedan and Leliana await.
Happy to meet a fellow Leliana fan, she is a sweetheart!

That she is. I'm not even sure I can bring myself to follow through with the ultimate sacrifice ending when romancing her. Gonna try, but damn, it won't be easy.

Seriously, chalk up that achievement with another PC, you can't do that to Leli! I don't know if you know the epilogue for that particular maneuver, but let's just say: I warned you...

Oh I know, I know. Hence my apprehension to follow through. Truly, truly tragic....
