... armed with a Predator pistol. She'd pull out the Revenant armed with explosive incendiary ammo and specced for max damage, and blow wannabe's ass to hell, and his escape car too. TIM would get dead air on the radio when he tried to find out what was going on.

I can't be the only one who really likes this pistol. It fires as rapidly as you can press the trigger, has snap-quick reload of the thermal clip, and really suits any class that has incendiary or cryo ammo powers. I usually just put the heavy barrel and thermal clip upgrade on it. Granted, this is normal difficulty, as I don't care about insanity.

Yeah, I've got nothing against the Predator either, really. I just played through that scene on the Citadel. Right after Thane gets stabbed, Shepard's running after Kai Leng. She fires half a dozen or so shots with a Predator. Meanwhile, Kai Leng hops into a phantom-piloted escape car and gets away.

Nope, Shepard would unload a large number of fiery bullets in a very short time instead.

Or just blow the wimp's leg off with a Claymore.  Or give him a new air hole with a Widow.  Or...and it goes on an on.  There are a great many ways that Shepard could have and should have tackled the Leng encounters.

Sure you can have cutscene/plot armor...to an extent, but there's a point where it just gets silly and believability just disappears.  Leng / encounters with Leng were full of that.
He wins because the plot dictates that he wins, not because he's genuinely more dangerous than Shepard.
He survives because the plot dictates that he survives, not because he's more cunning than Shepard.
Shepard approaches Leng encounters like a braindead baboon because the plot dictates it, and probably because Leng is so laughable of a "nemesis" (and I feel bad for even using that word) that if the plot did not have such a stranglehold then Leng would have been dead like all the other mooks; quickly and forgotten.

Shelard's got just as much plot armor as Kai Leng, of course.

Or shoot the car. One sword thrust seems to be enough. A few rounds with a Predator turns it into a foot race.

Hopefully games are more able to address the character's biotics or weapons they have in the future.

Forget using a weapon. He lands on the hood of your car, you pull up and introduce him to one of the bridges spanning the Presidium.

Squadmate: "The space ninja's back! He's immediate! He's THREATENING!!! HE'S-"
*splat*
*moment of awkward silence as squadmates stare at Shepard*
Shepard: *shrugs* "What?"

I wonder if the skycar is capable of doing a barrel roll. Thinking about it though, you wouldn't even have to try and scrape him off by running under one of the bridges on the Presidium. The skycar can stop in mid-air, so just slam the brakes and he flies off lol.

Only problem I can see with this is that some powers are exceptionally potent. There's all sorts of situations where a biotic charge could have curbstomped someone dead in their tracks, or a nova blast could clear a room.

Graal spike thrower, because why shoot something once when you can reduce it to an unrecognizable mess.

Yes I do believe that works nicely. That said, I wish that it did make the Cerberus mooks and husks explode.
