Reckless and suicidal are two very different things.

Even if Gerrel had won the war without a hitch he'd won himself a prime Reaper target that he had no way of holding off from them.

They were already a Reaper target, the whole Galaxy was, but they have better chances survivng on a planet than drifting in space and getting picked off one ship at a time.

Imagine if the Reapers had been
remotely smart during all that nonsense. Stick Legion on a Sovereign
class Reaper and laugh as no one can do anything about it. They couldn't
beat the Geth dreadnought, no way they'd stop a Reaper. No boarding
ports. No way for Shepard to get on board at all.

Yeah, but that would make sense, god forbid.

There was no 180, Gerrel has always been reckless, don't you remember that story he told about how he and Tali's father disobeyed a direct order to hold position during a Batarian raid because the knew they couldn't be charged due to being underage? He was obsessed with going to war with the Geth in ME2, if you use the renegade option to defend Tali during her trial you even call him out for it. The only reason people think his character has changed is because he was nice to Tali and their Shepard unlike Korris who was a douche, but regardless of this Gerrel was always a warmonger and Korris always favoured peace.

Magnitude and scale are important when it comes to analogies. Disobeying orders as a cadet on a gunship =\\= risking thousands of lives

Wanting to go to war with the Geth is reasonable, if you have the technology, but not during a Reaper invasion.

Let's have a quarian conversation that doesn't involve their body fluids, okay BSN?

Yeah because Quarian ground forces are something to rely on.

Well, I was actually thinking of Turian space cows, but you had to go that way again, tsk, tsk, tsk.

Actually, more science BioWare got wrong. Levo and Dextro substances are not inherently bad for one another to consume. You could still eat/drink dextro stuff, but you just wouldn't be able to "live" off it, because you wouldn't get the nutrients you needed from it.

It's not about how "reliable" their ground forces are(not that it even matters when your enemy are dreadnought sized Reapers), their chances of holding out until the battle of Earth comes are still better than being stuck in space. Besides, Reapers activity on Rannoch isn't nearly as bad as on Earth, Palaven, or Thessia, so they would be able to hold on for just a bit longer just like the Salarians have due to little Reaper activity.

@knucks: They can not run away from the Reapers on Rannoch. They will die there. (There's no where to go and they don't even have **** built there!) Probably in about a week since millions die in wars with the Reapers every day. That's the price of admission. That's how it is. Other planets can afford to have that many people die to buy them time in the war. Not the Quarians.

The Quarians with their crappy immune systems would die from a handful of Reaper agents screwing with all of them. Their gorilla wars would blow up in their faces since most of their food and crap is lo and behold on their ships. Willing to bet most of them don't even know how to farm let alone store food planetside for a large amount of people.

I don't really see how anyone can argue they'd live longer in space bunny hopping from relay to relay to abandoned systems than on a crappy planet with no infrastructure with their crappy immune systems and crappy ground troops compared to Reaper forces. It's not even a contest. It's a BB gun against a fully automatic.

Quarian troops require far too much medigel for minor injuries let alone the ones the Reapers would have them sustain it took the entire fleet to take out a rinky dink DESTROYER (while hitting the damn thing in it's WEAK POINT pretty much meaning their entire fleet's firepower equals ONE CAIN SHOT) what are they going to do against a Sovereign class ship?

Enough with the milk nonsense. My banhammer is getting ready. Get it back on track or I will lock it and my banhammer will be put to a good use.

That awkward moment when you realize BioWareMod03 is referring to actual posts about milk.

Now I really wish I could have saved the destiny ascension without saving the council too. It's no geth dreadnought, but then, can anyone fly the geth ships anyway?

If it was an option, I would see if the risk to get it was worth it, but we will never know.

All good, some milk is just not for some people.

They don't belong on the ground, but when it comes to ships they're the best. ( and the geth, but they're robots )
