There is no reason to waste medigel gefore wave five. If you can't carry the first few waves on Gold down one player or even by yourself, it's not anyone else's fault.

I see nothing wrong with this. I routinely bleed out on wave 1 on bronze/silver/gold/platinum games and quit games on wave 1. It's just a game at the end of the day, no harm done.

It's just a game, it's not to be taken seriously. So what if someone can't progress to late waves on gold or platinum? What's so terrible about being a noob? Like I always say...it's just a game, play it for fun and don't let it frustrate you too much.

I can solo the first wave on any difficulty on any map against any enemy. But yeah, if I did something stupid on wave one to go down, my team certainly shouldn't be counting on me to save the day. And I will definitely need those medigels on wave 10 if my new build/gun/char is having trouble on wave 1. But yeah, I'm the "newb."

Respectfully, no you don't get better. I don't need you on the first 5 or so waves. If you go down and I can't revive you, bleed out and go get a glass of water or something. I need you on wave 10 when there is one target remaining and you and I are the only ones still standing when a banshee warp ball bleeds me down and you have rockets left. Or turn it around, you need me on wave 10 when you're doing a device and I'm kiting the enemy away. If I were to go down and just bleed out they'd mob you. If I can stay up they'll chase me even if I have a crap weapon and a build so hipster that it comes with shoulder straps so you don't even need to bring your own backpack to carry me
And again, it's just a game.

Why would he waste his time reviving you on wave one when you apparently had just bled out 3 or 4 waves in a previous game with him. I can understand not gelling on wave 1, but what is your excuse for the previous game? You want someone to risk the match to revive you when it is your own fault for going down? Try proving you are worth that risk by using up a gel or 2 to show you aren't just there to leech. Most people will be much more inclined to carry a game or at least attempt it if there is at least one other player in the lobby showing that they are willing to give everything they can to try and be of some use.
@XFG: You are beyond a hypocrite! As many post as I have seen from you complaining about "worthless randoms" and confessing to rage quits , you should take your own advice and remember it is just a game and it is meant to be fun before you rage quit or post a complaint about bad teammates again.

Most people tend to make their mistakes early in the game. The mentality of it being "the easy waves" are usually more costly, but any good player is much more cautious in later waves if they are low on gels. So yes, most of the time people do get better as the game goes on (adjusting to teammate playstyles, adjusting to connection to host, etc.) and you will rarely make it far enough for your gels to be of use if you play selfish early on.

This game takes more knowledge and equipment than it does skill. You'd have to be stupid if you think someone who wanted to couldn't improve.

Okay, guilty...but that doesn't change anything, I still stand by the comments I posted on this thread. At this very moment, I simply don't care at all about how good or how bad people are at this game. It may have annoyed me a few days ago, but not right now. Whether someone scores 400k in a game or bleeds out on wave 1 and quits...it makes no difference. People need to stop taking this game so seriously. Yes, I've posted countless comments in recent times complaining about pugs. I let myself become frustrated by a game, and that's wrong. It's just a video game, it doesn't affect anything, and it's not worth complaining about or getting frustrated over. I won't be taking part in any form of complaining from this moment onward. All I had to do was take a step back, and I realised I was just being a crybaby. And for what? Over nothing.

Relative Noobie looking for honest answers doesn't realize he's unlikely to get many, but acquires more than I had anticipated. Geth Juggernaut is mentioned twice, just saiyan.

Some more honest answers, a few people trying to fix other peoples posts in quotes. Really quite tame. If this was a plane, it's flying as straight and true as can be expected on them internets. Then more quotes happen. Then more quotes, and finally a facepalm. The plane has encountered... turbulence.

What did I misread exactly? I already said the wave 1 deal was understandable for not gelling. I would even give you a pass for not gelling on wave 2 since no credits have been earned at that point. However, your "excuse" of needing those gels for later waves is worthless if the team isn't going to make it that far. You would be MUCH better off burning a gel or 2 from wave 3 onward if nobody is going to get you up. You failed to gel in 3 out of 4 waves and there is simply no good reason for that since then you leave your fate up to someone else.
Me L2P? I probably would need to again since I haven't even had the game since the beginning of July, but I can promise you that when I did play that plenty of people can vouch for me that I knew how to play.
