Players who clutched waves 9 & 10 while you watched fom the floor because you wasted your medigel on the first half of the game?  Yeah. I'm sure I played with youonce or twice.

Jesus Christ dude.

You're talking to a calibre of players who don't use all their gels in the entire match. Let alone needing them for waves 9 or 10.

I don't even remember the last time I needed all 6 gels, and I basically only pug platinums as of late. And I guarantee you I am not even close to being as good as most of the players on BSN.

If I die on Wave 1 I'll gel out of embarrassment unless my team mate is literally quick enough to res me before I hit the button.

Don't make me post more planes exploding.

A "calibre of players" who can't handle wave 1 without a full team?  Color me not impressed.

Who said they can't handle it? Clearly you can't if you're bleeding out on wave 1, they just don't want to carry you to wave 10.

Would love to find out how that bleeding out strategy leads to you not bottom scoring.

Who said anything about us needing teammates? I've carried more Gold and Platinum PUG games than you have likely had mission success on for the same 2 difficulties. I solo'd Gold before challenges and then twice when challenges came out for Lone Wolf banner. The thing about it is that once you do stuff like carry almost every PUG you play, it gets to a point where it can feel like a waste of time.

In the game where you bled out 3 out of 4 waves with Boogieman he could have likely clutched the entire match if he had wanted to, but when it looks like you will be alone the entire length of the game because players like yourself won't gel that is increasing the time of the game (less players killing) and is usually a test of patience. Why should he stay and possibly have to risk clutching at another 6 waves or so? For all he knew you weren't going to gel even once the entire game (which is what I was saying about proving yourself before by gelling once or twice). Why should he turn a 20-25 minute 4 player game into a 30-40 minute solo with 3 spectators making objectives that much more difficult?

That's pretty much it. I don't have an issue with carrying games, as long as I know that the others are actually trying. I don't expect every player to be a beast, but show that you aren't just there for a free ride.

"as long as I know that the others are actually trying." You weren't trying, he has issues with that.

Reading comprehension, work on it.

I would like to get in on this somehow but I fear one more troll would be overkill

Have to give credit to Kook and Aqua for managing to upset so many people in this thread, sometimes I wonder why people are so gullible. Even when someone says that he knows they are trolling he still gets upset and writes a whole essay about it, well that's just fantastic.

Also, I've seen Mr. Booger die on wave 1 Platinum without gelling plenty of times, so I smell a hypocrite here.....

I am not upset one bit, just feel like I am trying to explain something to someone with a disability. Sure dude is likely trolling to see if he can get a rise out of people, but at least my responses are just a means to pass time since I can't sleep.

Oh and there is a difference between trolling and just being an idiot. Either way it isn't funny and as you could tell by LuckyBullet's post, you can take it only so far before it actually annoys someone cause they are tired of seeing the trash that is posted. Most of the "trolls" are old enough to be considered grown-ups, why not try to act your age? You only make yourself look bad, but I guess since you are "anonymous" on the internet you do things you dare wouldn't do in public.

I wasn't specifically refering to you SlimmyJimmy. But you do know that whatever you say will just have the opposite effect right? Aqua will take everything wrong on purpose so there is really no need to try and explain anything here that 99% of BSN already know.

I am fairly sure you are right, but on the off chance he decides to be willing to accept advice it doesn't hurt me to put it out there. I am running on over 40 hours without sleep due to insomnia, so I may as well do something with that time.

To OP:

1. Of Batarians and Krogans I would say that the Krogan Sentinel would be a really good class to use on Platinum. In the past that was all I played for a few months because I loved how much survivability and damage output you could have with that class

2. Close quarter characters for Platinum? All Infiltrators, all Soldiers, all Sentinels, all Vanguards and about 90% of all Adepts and Engineers
