Mario from Yoshi's Island. I suppose Nintendo didn't expect people to get
that agitated at an incessantly whining infant with a penchant for stomping enemies to death and lighting things on fire. Unfortunately, this character is attached to you from beginning to end...the good news is the eggs coming out of the main character's rear will protect him from that scenario.
Tingle from Legend of Zelda. When a 35 year old dressed in a Skin-Tight elf suit prances around your protagonist, something has gone terribly amiss.
Slippy from the Star Fox Series. More tolerable in the first since the voices were still blips instead of voice-acted. Once 64 hit,
The Annoyance Began.
Final Fantasy 8...just about everyone. The most I remember of Squall's dialogue is "Whatever." Zell has a haircut almost as bad as
FFX's Seymour. Selphie has dialogue including "Super-Wacky-Bummer". The only character I'd say is redeemable is Quistis. Likely the most intelligent of the group, and seems to be into whips.
The ME3 EDI. I think the dev diary or what-have-you said the design for her was based off some anime I forget the name of. I personally thought it was alright, but they really should have had a scene of her trying on the normandy's uniform and having that as a default. Her dialogue's fine, but having a sexbot(even Jack jokes about this if she's in your party during the academy mission) waltzing around blasting everyone is a bit too ludicrous. It's like Miranda 2.0.
Imoen Baldur's Gate
Not my favorite character, but she was alright.
