I really just don't understand why people have to talk about their dislikes? Why not start a thread about the characters you DO like? I for one love tali, but you don't see me starting a "I Hate Miranda" thread...

I'm quite neutral towards Tali. He's nice character but nothing super special. Also, as some have noted, Tali really is motivated to the mission in general.

And for those who compare Tali and Legion: Old enemies are todays allies. Though, I have to be honest, as a character, I like Legion more than Tali. I'm sucker for anything superdeveloped high-tech gadgets, gubbins and other stuff.

And message to all tali fans arguing with people who strongley dislike tali don't even come to these forums they like ashley they like liara they like everyone but tali and thats ok i like tali but i won't sit and argue with people who make forums about hating miranda even thoough u adore her its like arguing with a wall telling it its in your way it won't move it likes where its at or it doesent want to if i made a huge fwd message to all miranda fans telling them to stop liking miranda they have the right to deny my request besause its there opinions u likr tali thats ur opinion u think shes cute or something again ur opinion u shouldent disrespect their opinion i respect all ur opinions tali fan or not but lets not argue over them.

I might like Legion more if you didn't have to wait nearly until the end of the game just to get him.

Same here. Especially if you are one of those people who like to see their whole crew alive after the suicide mission.
I usually leave some of the better and longer side missions to be played after the end so I can use Legion a bit more.

Check out some of the stuff in our almost 5000 page thread. Not naming names but some people have seriously taken the Tali fan thing WAY too far. And I consider myself a HUGE Tali fan btw.

For me, Tali is fine. Dunno if i could say i hate any characters but Ashley, Jack and Zaeed are closer to that end of the spectrum than any others. Someone on page 1 said Tali was bland, if you're looking for bland look no further than Jacob.

He's a really good LI for my Renegade FemShep though. She's a bit of a Narcicist.

I think Tali is fine in ME1, but really empty in ME2. There's not even a bit of dialogue I can remember that tells what she was doing after the normandy went down. Even Garrus tells you what he started doing. EVEN Wrex had a whole lot of dialogue about after the normandy went down and he's not even part of the your party! I hope bioware writers put some more random and relevant dialogue for all the characters.

Don't exaggerate. We hardly ever see a Tali-centric thread every day, most of them keep to their ungodly long thread. And Taliphobes? I think you mean Taliphiles.

I don't have anything with or against Tali as a character, but I hate her as a squadmate. She throws herself in the line of fire all the time. In her loyalty mission, she's always down in the first ten seconds.

All squadmates get themselves killed, just park them round a corner so they stay alive and you can use their abilities then go kill everything yourself
