After work tonight I have 3 days off. My lungs feel like they work again (Felt like they didn't for the last few weeks, nasty respiratory infection.) so I'll probably be hitting the sauce and hitting up some lobbies over the weekend.

So my question to you is thus...

What is your most recent discovery in MP? To elaborate on the emphasized "your", last week I had never tried an Acolyte wielding Human Sentinel with Incendiary rounds. While I'm sure that kit/build has been around for ages, I had never seen a post about it up until recently. So this week in the few matches I've managed, it's been fun to try it out.

So I'm curious what you've been trying out recently, it doesn't have to be an original concept to the forums as a whole, but it might very well be to me.

I will shamelessly mimic any that sound interesting or near to my playstyle that I haven't tried before.

well nothing special but i thought i should try the crusader on the drell assasin since he slows down targets and hits as hard as a truck. incredibly smooth solo i have to say

I haven't given much attention to the arc pistol until off late. Now that I have played a few games with it, I feel that it is one of the best guns in the game.My 'recent discoveries' are:
Arc Pistol QFE
Arc Pistol TSentinel
Arc Pistol Paladin

I played the volus vanguard earlier, I've only ever used him once or twice before, a long time ago...I was very shocked at how good he was, I really love his play style, one of the most complex characters in the game. I probably wasn't using him to his full potential, but I was still able to destroy everything. Bonus charge, shield boost, biotic orbs...really great character. With incendiary rounds, you can create fire explosions by using either biotic charge or biotic orbs. I was using the orbs offensively, they provide a nice debuff. And of course, you also have cloak. A very interesting character. You can shield boost immediately after charging (if your bonus charge kicks in, that is) and follow up by hurling a few biotic balls.

^ don't forget the Heavy Melee, which provides invincibility frames, damage reduction, and restores a small amount of shields.

The male quarian engineer troll : adas for long range, reegar for close combat/dps whoring, grenades/incinerate in the mix... Awesome.

I think the last new thibg I tried was a Harrier GI. I fkn hated it. And also a 66660 sniper GI, usually 65663 for everything.

Yeah it's terrible off host, I'd never touch it unless I'm hosting. Almost as bad as repair matrix off host, almost.

I found that flamer can kill an Atlas in a single cast

I don´t enjoy sniping at all and also tend to get bored quickly with both automatic fire weapons and weapons platform characters. Was pleased to find that a wall-shooting flamerless geth trooper with Indra and drill rounds besides being ridiculuosly powerful was also quite fun to play.

My thanks go to Bioware for not including such a cheap troll unit in the heretics we get to fight :-).

Wait...how is the venom good off host? I find the lag really annoying, that delay between releasing the trigger and the shot hitting the ground, just puts me off my game completely, the weapon becomes very unpredictable and aiming becomes difficult. Do people actually use it off host?

I use it offhost all the time, and never have any problem with it. Make sure you're "aiming" at their feet, and you should be in fairly colse range.

Alternatively, consider upgrading your internet if every single offhost game you play is a total lag-fest.

Found out that if you press the DoEverythingButton while backpedaling, you reload cancel without magnetizing towards cover. Not really helpful for me being on PC, but maybe it could be for someone who plays on console.
