That one is a bed already made but does show that Bioware will change the way characters appear, and not just in the Dragon Age world. *looks at Matriarch Aethyta*
I would prefer that Cassandra look as close as possible as she did in DA2 ... She had some amazing eyes, to me.

But at the end of the day it is Bioware's decision and so there you have it.
If you like her new look, great for you!
If you don't like her new look, sorry.

After all, it would be pretty unrealistic if all adventurers were good-looking; it's not like pretty people are somehow naturally better at swinging a sword around.

Seriously, James Bond changed the actor like 7 times. It's still James Bond.

I find Cassandra in DAI to be attractive. I don't know why people are complaining about her looks. I mean in DA2 she looks cartoon like. In DAI shes more realistic plus she aged. Don't you people want Bioware to produce realistic characters in their games or do you still want them to produce DA:O quality?

Yeah, I actually like her new look too. She reminds me a bit of Mariska Hargitay, who also has a square face and rocks short hair. I think Mariska is a handsome woman. She's attractive, but in a slightly masculine way.

Cassandra from Inquisition looks like her DA2 counterpart but in the new art style. Not to mention the image people keep using doesn't exactly have the best shot or lighting.

Everybody has an opinion.
You have yours, people like the OP and I have a different view.

We must have the same opinion or it invalidates all of us?
I'm always tickled by people arguing over personal tastes instead of just sharing their views.

Nothing backhanded about the compliment. I stated that she's attractive in a slightly masculine way. That's not insulting at all. It was a compliment and I meant it that way. I can't speak for an actress who I've never met, though.

She's looking a bit pale in the above image and in the gameplay footage we've seen.
I hope she retains the more olive tone she had in DA2 and the E3 trailer.
