:huh:In the GI coverage she actually seems more different from DAO Morrigan than the trailer version.

If you're lucky, you'll be able to mod her appearance.

Good point. Even if that's an option confined to just one platform.

It's not like it would be a first for the DA-series that modded appearances do wonders for certain NPCs.

Women with strong jawlines are "abominations" now? Jesus Christ.

There's nothing wrong with the way Cassandra looks, and even if she was ugly, so what? Not every character has to conform to the mainstream conception of beauty.

This is Cassandra in DA2

Now look at the DA:I version:

media1.gameinformer.com/imagefeed/featured/electronic-arts2012/bioware/dragonage/Cassandra61081913.jpg

Even worse, look at the Kotaku video here at 12:41

Cassandra allready looked perfectly fine, why turn her into an abomination? Please tell me this is a rushed version of some horrible placeholder :( (Edit: I mean come on, she doesent even look remotely like herself)

Morrigan in the sacred ashes trailer looked like garbage, her in-game model was beatiful though. Cassandra and Morrigan in DAI trailers look bad again so I'm assuming the in-game models will be ideal again.

The picture doesn't do her justice, she looked quite different and much better in the pax Demo. I 'm sure none of the NPC's faces are finished yet, thats called development.

Image IPB

I totally like her design in the demo.

That picture was from an upwards angle. Funny thing about angles. Traditionally, men look better from an upwards angle, and women look better from a downward angle.

In any rate, I notice the changes, but think both Morrigan and Cassandra look fine. I definitely don't understand the need for the word, "abomination."

Seems that since we don't have any new info go digest, BSN is just looking for things to nitpick.

I can't because she doesn't, end of thread.

FYI I think she looks fine, don't really dig the hair style but its not a deal breaker.

It is different from how she looked in DA2, but her DA2 look was kind of bland. Not bad, just kind of like something you'd end up with if you went into the CC and tweaked the sliders a bit.

I'm fine with her DAI look, it's quite masculine but she looks more like seasoned-warrior which I think suits her compared to her detailess face from DA2. I think we should be pass the age of making pretty pixels to satisfy Angrywolves sexual frustrations.

I think that Cassandra looks fine in Inquisition, and I personally hope she has a more muscular build to go with her battle-hardened appearance.

There's some ugly forumites in this thread - too bad Bioware won't fix them.

I'm a fan of Cassandra's new look myself, but then I'm a fan of the Xena warrior woman look .  I know it's not for everyone but 'abomination'? That's a tad bit harsh in my opinion.

What if DA:I's Cassandra is how she was supposed to look this whole time? Complaining that she doesn't look how she did in DA2 is kind of silly, seeing how DA2's engine and art assets obviously weren't created with high realism in mind, and Cassandra's morph was generated using the default chargen tools and not modelled independantly to achieve a higher level of fidelity.

This time they have a much stronger graphics engine, much more realistic art assets, and probably a bajillion more verts to work with for defining a character's facial structure. I wouldn't be second-guessing the character artists here.

And if you're just upset that her face doesn't fit your personal preferences for whatever reason... well... that's rather petty, to be quite honest.

Looks better in DA:I than in DA2 but I do hope for an even better look. Actually, I hope they give us companion customization kits like in SWTOR to have the look we want.

It's placeholder

The developers have received our feedback and will act on that information.

There will be plenty of younger babes.  Cassandra is old now

Cassandra is supposed to be a warrior, not a super model, she looks just fine.

I really don't see why people have this problem with her face. In my eyes she looks 100x better than in DA2 where she had a cartoony potato face.

I don't know if it's hilarious or creepy that someone would let a character die or not buy DLC because the character is not sexually attractive to them.

This thread is so sad with sexist and hetro-normative views... I can't believe your entire opinion on a character is based on how they look and how you think the game designers should cater to your views. It's pretty gross and petty, just like Valadras said. Cassandra looks strong and like a warrior and I think the art style is several steps up from DA2's cartoony look, I feel it certainy suits the game universe more as well as suiting her. Everyone's look has chamged. If you don't like how she looks and don't want to stare at her "abomination" of a face then don't romance her or recruit her or whatever. But don't expect everyone to go along with and agree with your bigoted views.

It really shouldnt matter if anyone dislikes a characters looks, even if you dont why go out of your way to complain.
In DA2 most faces kinda looked the same even so she doesnt even look that different from 2 anyway.
kinda just happenstance  that shes the most attractive/awesome looking character in Anything Dragon Age to me.
hm...an abomination.. Im going to really enjoy fighting anything possessed with a demon in DAI in that case

So where's the problem with her face again? I'm not seeing it.
