i just want a great way to end the game so i can move onto Dragon Age 2 , but i don't know which one i should pick? City Elf , Dwarf Commoner or Human Noble?

Explain

CityElf Male
now this was my first Origin i finished and it was very fun and i hear alot of people say playing as a Female makes it even better but the thing with that is i can't make a female with males its easy but whenever i make a female i try to make her perfect OCD that way and the make up just makes it even more hard ! . . so i stick with males in this game :)

Dwarf Commoner
never finished this one but Dwarf Noble was very fun , the thing is though when i tried it i just couldn't get connected with these characters i don't know why i might get better later on but is it really good?

Human Noble
what thats not a rogue origin . . . well the only thing i know from the Human Noble is hes the only one that gets to be King and hell i played the Dwarf Noble once as a Rogue so i thought i might as well try to become one as this one too :/

None is outright the best.

Skills and talents are a wash - they all start with dirty fighting and poison making, and the other is either coercion, stealing or combat training, all of which are good.

HN has the best attirbutes, DC has the magic resistance, CE gets Fang lategame. None of these are major. The magic resistance is the biggest, but in a lot of parties the rogue shouldn't be targeted by magic anyway, so...

whichever story you prefer, basically.

The City Elf origin does split at one point depending on whether you are male or female, but I wouldn't necessarily say the female one was that much better.

I like the Dwarf Commoner the best.

I actually really enjoyed the Dwarf commoner, which surprised me. Local gal from the wrong side of the tracks made good! I got to RP that Rica was her big sister, always trying to protect her from the seamier side of the carta, then I got to switch that when I went back to Orzammar, and protect Rica. Made for some great RP. I will be doing a male dwarf commoner rogue once I finish my male Surana I'm currently playing with.

The City elf was more fun as a female, but then I like playing girls since I AM one. But I have done the origin as a male.

HN is my favorite origin, getting mention almost all the way through the game here and there and you do get a slightly different ending depending on your choices.

I say: All are fun in different ways. Make whatever you feel you will have the most fun on and go from there.

Dwarf Commoner female or City Elf one or the other, but the female origin story has a lot more bite to it from my perspective. Same with the Dwarf female. Heck, even the Noble female makes the most sense.

Mage is a wash, and Dwarven noble works better male.

Still, for a rogue, I really like the City Elf female or Dwarven Commoner female the most.

It depends on how you want your warden to go. If you want to be queen you have to be a human noble no matter who you want to romance. The human noble origin ties in very closely with the events of Origins itself and gives a lot more oomph to the targeting of Howe. If you feel passionately about the injustices done to people because of their race, city elf is the way to go. If you are into the lost Arlathan and the connection between it, the eluvians and Morrigan, play a Dalish elf. If you're offended by the situation of the dwarven casteless and surfacers, play a dwarf commoner. If you think preserving the traditions of a race threatened with extinction is a worthy goal, try a dwarf noble.

Each origin provides its own insights into part of the story. For me it was deciding what the overall state of Ferelden was going to be like. All the origins were fun to play.

personally I prefer the City Elf (the main difference is males get an extra game sequence in which they break in while females get a dramatic cut-scene of what's happening during their captivity)

The dwarf commoner origin is linked to criminal activity and feels suited to rogues in that way.

personally, I divide the 6 origins into 3 themes with a simple (talk and fight) version and a more complex (puzzle solving) version.

Theme 1 - underdog battling prejudice and oppression
simple - city elf, complex-dwarf commoner

Theme 2 - social elite battling ambition and treachery
simple - human noble, complex - dwarf noble

Theme 3 - outsider away from normal society battling supernatural
simple - Dalish elf, complex -mage

IMO, for me the best rogues are the dwarf commoner or the dalish elf

My DC's are daggers, and my dalish are archers
