I'd check it out if I didn't have 1 and 2 already, and I don't really want Tactics.

Go get 'em guys they are good.

But remember, they don't have autosave and automatically kick you to the main menu when you die, so save like a mental patient

I didn't get tactics, to be honest. I only hear bad things about that game.

You're not ready for the awesomeness that is Tactics. It's not RPG (awesome strategy) but it is far better than FO1 or 2 (gameplay and tactical-wise). Gameplay of FO1&2 is like a joke (BG has better gameplay than them).

NV > FO3 > FO:T > FO1 > FO2


Please confirm if any of them supports HD screen. My FO1 gog doesn't support and even wide screen mods don't work.

Once it starts rolling, I like the combat of the old games, in all honesty. Without companions.

Don't know if this is a joke or not. I'm guessing it isn't., but still I'm not getting it. I've heard enough about it o know I won't like it.

@Am1_vf, wut? You downloaded them all in 16 minutes?!
They must be over 4 GB. Any sign of HD/Wide screen? It sucks to play them on 800*600 or 1024*768 on our giant monitors.

Nonono, I haven't downdoaded yet, it's just that since the site was so crowded with traffic just getting to check out and see the boxes in my profile was enough of a success to celebrate XD

Edit: Now they're downloaded. I'll try to install one of them to see if I can answer your question.
 
Edit again: I installed Fallout 2 and I don't see any resolution settings  Seems to be playing at 640x480, doesn't look too bad though, just a little squished (I have a monitor with a button to switch to 4:3 for this sort of thing).

If you go to the Fallout Forums at GOG there are Mod posts which feature updates that have patches to allow the game to play at higher resolutions.

Interesting that GOG is giving them away for free - because I've read GOG will remove Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics after December 31. People who have already bought them will keep the games in their library, but in the future GOG won't be selling them.
