This topic will be really interesting to re-discuss in 10 years or so, after the game development will make a few more steps forwards.

Except game developers aren't looking at games from Quantic Dreams for step in directions

And they shouldn't

Time will tell.

Time is already telling, Seival. Quantic Dream haven't sprung out of nowhere with Beyond Two Souls, it's their third big QTE interactive movie game in eight years, spanning multiple generations.

I don't know about the reality you live in, but in my reality there hasn't been a shift, or any shift, toward games like Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls. They are literally the only noteworthy examples of their type.

Indigo Prophecy was cray, it started out alright though. Did you happen to see Darth's post a while back. "Clearly the person who made this game has given up on living." I don't necessarily agree with that, but it was bloody hilarious none the less.

Nope, Skyrim seems to be the most fashionable game to emulate these days.

Maybe I should plan on buying Journey? I am just too lazy to have my PS3 be anything else than a blu-ray player now.

Also, Seival, please play Spec Ops : The Line or something.

Only great stories with best possible visual part.

And yet you play Beyond.

Not even that. You stick to the playstation over the personal computer, which is empirically, not even subjective or anything, but observably, mathematically, supported by concrete repeatable data, to be better in visuals then the playstation is, able to outpreform consoles, and has just as many high quality story driven games as the consoles do.

You're a fool. A textbook one at that. In fact I'd be willing to start a kickstarter to make a picture of you inside the dictionary whenever people look up what the definition of a fool is.

Shiit, that breaking through the glass shows more emotion than Jodie screaming "Momma No" at the end of Beyond Two Souls.

Now I want someone to dub Fresh Prince audio over B:TS

To be fair, I believe he sticks to it because of the exclusive "streak" it has had over the past few years.  Though, it is quite ironic.

I had a thread about it earlier this year (before the numbered mods) but it got removed because people got violent.

Multi-plaform gaming is the pinnacle of gaming evolution, though expensive as all hell.

I wouldn't say pinnacle, but you do get to experience some great titles.

Well I disagree with you on it being just another dime-a-dozen shooter, I thought it was  a breath of fresh air and was my personal GOTY.
