Pretty sure RYSE: Son of Rome has the best graphics out there in next-gen.

Nah, it's Madden. 

Also, thread should be re-named: "Proof that graphics on PC is better" 

It's funny, because I value art style and aesthetics over the amount of pixels and polygons are displayed on screen, some of the most beautiful games I've played are 2d or 2.5d type deals. 

But the notion of someone saying "I play console because the graphics are better than PC" is beyond belief. It just defies logic. Even more so when said person is unwilling to admit the obvious despite being shown piles of evidence to the contrary.

Welp, if I ever needed a reason to get a computer that can actually run games, this is probably it. I thought Skyrim was pretty to look at before. Those Skyrim images make me feel inadequate.

Though there is the Witcher series that still acts as a paperweight for me.

I wonder... I'm looking to get a new laptop. Are there any that could run games without lag or interference in the graphical fidelity?

Or, get this - they aren't outdated and next-gen, while it does look great - isn't that "spectacular to begin with".  You ever thought about that?  As the months and years go down, sure, I can expect another TLOU moment with the graphical beauty, that was TLOU (subjective again, learn that term), but you have to realize.... the PC will dominate that aspect.  The hardware is already outdated on the console by PC, so I don't get why you're trying to argue dominance in a field which isn't there.
