I recall somebody somebody saying it's like 4hrs. I don't know how long KZ3 is though so I can't compare. I'm working on getting a PS3 someday to give the 2nd and 3rd games a go.nerdage wrote...

How long is the single player campaign compared to KZ3, anyone?
Killzone: Shadow Fall... Wow, the first next-gen game has set really high standards of quality.

"The problem I'm getting here is that people like Seival think that the increased fidelity afforded by newer consoles automatically makes a better game. I mean, you can throw out your evidence for just all around power and I won't refute that the next console generation will have games that look better than the previous one. But there's a lot more to video games and my enjoyment of them than just the graphical standpoint. I'm not a graphics snob, even if I can appreciate them. What the developers accomplish within the framework of that console, whether it's a PS2, Xbox, 360, PS4, or Xbox One game, is what matters."

Shiny graphics make a better game according to Seival so it's relevant.dreamgazer wrote...

Different chandalier light covers...???!!!
PRE-ORDER CANCELLED!
No, but seriously, this greatly excites me. This series is one of the best in the Sierra point-and-click glory days and it would be great to have new life breathed into it for new generations and (possibly?) a sequel to conclude the series.

I won't lie: when they're done right, I appreciate them. But the games are just as effective in both formats.

I was arguing with (what I'm assuming) is a graphics snob of the PC persuasion so I'm gonna repost what I said. I figure it would apply to Seival if I changed & omitted a few sentences:

I agree. Great graphics are just a perk, really. I'm playing through Kingdom of Amalur for the third time: meh graphics, meh story, but damn I find the combat to be really fun.
Or going back to Skyrim and it's modding capabilities. There are some really bloody awesome graphic mods, or there are some that just make the game completely crazy, like turning dragons into Macho Man Randy Savage or Thomas the Tank Engine
With the advancements of the hardware, better graphics are going to come naturally with it, but it doesn't automatically equal a great game.

Agreed, wholeheartedly. Also, some good and bad news:
The biggest differences in the remake are the artwork, the music, and the voices, which have been redone under Jane’s direction. The screenshots on this site will give you a sense of the new art style, which replaces the original 640×480 pixel art with high-res (2048×1536) 3D graphics. While the locations and basic design haven’t changed, these high-res graphics will give the game’s authentic New Orleans environments more detail than ever before. The high-res graphics will look way better on today’s high definition computer monitors, not to mention on retina display iPads! The music is being re-orchestrated and re-mastered by the original composer, Robert Holmes.
