I've played Shadow Fall on friends PS4 before home party and I have to say that game looks really nice. I bet it would look better on PC with all modern features and stuff, but still it looks good. As goes for the story, its average but gameplay is good (i hate shooters with gamepad though).

Even so, graphics don't mean much. I mean, sure, good graphics are nice, but they are hardly a requirement for a good game. 1080p was built on the back of 8bit.
The argument that has been going on is that better graphics = a better overall game, which is basically what everyone here is disagreeing with.
Definitely. Graphical fidelity is nice, but it doesn't make (or break) a game. It's just pretty to look at, nothing more.

Even though you brough ****ty compressed versions of them the first two are official bullshots released by Guerrilla that are almost 4K downsampled from god knows what resolution (it looks like x4 SSAA or more, so we are talking about 16K+ resolutions here).Seival wrote...

Maybe you just lack the ability to search nice screenshots?
You'll have to wait for PS5 (or PS6) to see that stuff in-game.
Maybe you should launch K:SF on PS4 and observe its graphics directly, instead of watching the game on YouTube?
Seriously, you have no idea what are you talking about.
To see that rendered in less than 16ms you'll have to wait for PS6.

Seeing as these are cutscenes they really aren't indicative of the PS4's power seeing as a game on the PS1 can have CGI that looks like thisSeival wrote...

Forgettable, ironic since they look pretty but their personalities are stuck in one dimension.Seival wrote...

Again. Buy PS4, buy K:SF, and play it. Observe the characters and the environment. And do that before posting such a nonsense next time, please. Compressed YouTube videos will never give you any reliable enough info regarding a game graphics, they can only show gameplay or some storytelling featur/b].

Tell me about it. What a horrible world we live in where video games actually contain gameplay. The nerve of those devs out there making games where the player has to use some sort of human interface device to control characters on in the game. Video games should be totally about graphics, and as such, should just be one five-hour long cutscene.

What's the benefit of a game over a movie if the gameplay is pretty much just continuously pressing an unpause button?
