Xbox is also a PC with gamepad, so what? It was born to be second to Playstation, and will remain in that state forever. The question is which level Steam Machine is going to take - just below Playstation, or just below the Xbox... Anyhow, even Steam understands that consoles are the future of gaming, not PCs. Otherwise, it wouldn't perform any attempts to make its way into consoles market.

And your examples... Again YouTube with its compressed videos... I don't wanna even comment that further.

The sony fanboy is strong with this one.

Anyways, the PS4 is just a PC as well. The one time Sony tried to use different architecture it ended up going very poorly for them because nobody wanted to develop for the damned thing at first due to it being a massive pain.

and the Wii still outsold both consoles last generation on top of Sony and Microsoft trying to have their own motion sensing devices. Clearly they understand this is the future of gaming otherwise they would not have done so.

All hail our new gaming overlord, Nintendo.

Seival's worst nightmare has already come true: a console w/ games of inferior graphical quality winning out.

Just two examples, and yes, even with the Steam Machine being console like, it's running more powerful PC hardware, and AMD mantel, allowing for more powerful PC games to be released.

Wanna know what wasn't second to PlayStation? The Wii. This means that PlayStation was born to be second to Nintendo right? Did you also know that the PS Vita was born to be second to the 3DS? Again, this proves that PlayStation was born to be second to Nintendo.

True fact, Nintendo rejected the Playstation for a weaker gaming system, and to this day still outsells them.

"Why do we play the 3DS? Because it's Nintendo." I loled at that one. Even Nintendo knows that all they have to do is release crap and people the world over will eat it up.

Nintendo could literally release a brick and it would sell millions, because Nintendo.

They may have well have done with the Wii U, that thing is nice, but ultimately it's going to lag behind the other two. I think the Wii was a bit of a niche product and suffers as all niche products do when the consumer base lose interest in it. The lack of note worthy games doesn't help and the Kinect and PS move stepping on it's turf it doesn't look great for the Wii U.

It really needs some outstanding new IPs to get it off the ground.

Don't own a wii u yet but monolith softs "X" thing could sell me it. As could a new zelda or fire emblem game.

I have a dream that one day Nintendo will understand this again, and understand what that means in this day and age for a full-fledged console. I doubt their first-party studios will be getting out titles in a timely fashion, and If developers don't want to take the time to make games for you because of significantly inferior hardware then that's a problem. They kind of screwed themselves up with a focus on gimmicky controls once again. I haven't seen any games that makes an investment in that approach worth it.

The time to be a gen behind and a dollar ahead should be over by now, anyway.

I wonder if Nintendo's change in focus is Reggie's fault? They were never about gimmicks before he became really involved there.

Critics are not trustworthy nowadays.

Not surprised at that response.

I'm sure if Shadow Fall was a 98 in comparison to those scores we'd be reading something along the lines of, "The people have spoken, even reviewers agree. You're all the minority" or something like that.

Anyway, people should just agree to disagree. We all know that no one's opinion in here is going to change.

At this point its just people pressing buttons to press buttons.

Wait, wait, wait. So reviewers aren't trustworthy and neither are players who are critical of it.... Only people who like it are trustworthy... Hahahahahaha

You're right, they're not.  They were probably bribed by Sony marketing just to get it up to a 74, LOL!

This reminds me of the time when Seival said that PC gaming was dying. When presented w/ evidence that PC gaming had increased, he simply said something like, "Well, it'll start dying in a few years, mang." You could make a presentation w/ a bunch of charts predicting PC gaming to steadily increase within the next ten years, and Seival will say, "Yeah, well, it'll start dying in 11 years, mang."

I can't tell if Seival's fervent Sony fanboyism is due to his own personal opinion that Sony makes good products or just some delusional rationlization for his choice.

If they put out a Fire Emblem game on the WiiU I would pretty much buy the console instantly.

So because I don't agree with your opinion I clearly don't know what I'm talking about?

Arrogance at its finest.
