What is really Next-Gen- Seival, what is it, really? Basing off your arguments, I'd say PC gaming has been doing the whole "Next-Gen" phase for a long time.

The next gen needs time to develop.

These both came out on the 360. We can't even guess what the next gen has in store.

Saints Row's engine sucked. Not fair.

Yep.

That's what I'm saying though. We are seeing 2013 engines. What are 2016 engines going to produce?

I'm still waiting on an explanation as to how an unreleased game is going to be graphically worse than K:SF.

That'll still ultimately depend on whether it's ported and how.

I don't think this question has been asked yet. So I'll ask the obvious.

So Seival, if consoles have better graphics than PC, then why do virtually ALL Multi-Platform games look better on PC on max settings, with the capability for larger resolutions and higher framerates and in some cases, High-Res Texture Packs?

I ask again, Seival, how do you expect the hardware in your PS4 to remain on the cutting edge for the next eight years?

The Ps3 and 360 did a good job of it.

He'll never answer something that can't be easily handwaved.

Well, that isn't the hardware doing the work, that is the developers tweaking and learning.  The hardware is going to stay the same.

No doubt. Saints Row 2 easily destroyed GTA IV in the fun department for me.

Fair enough, but the hardware still needed to be good enough to run BTS, TLoU, CoE and a lot of the games released last year and this year in general.

True, but to be fair, that's not the hardware remaining on the cutting edge. The 360/PS3 accomplished more beautiful things down the line but the tech was still years old and that needed to be accounted for.

As a person who knows nothing about hardware, you just may be right. However, you don't need the best hardware to make some really good eye candy.
