Ok , never mind the game but how about the DLC?

Dragon age currently on sale + all DLC (worth about 120$) on Steam for just 5 pounds while Mass Effect DLC costs the same as the day it was released even now years later. Do you guys think we should get a DLC sale for the Mass Effect franchise too?

Here's what you get with the 5 pounds ultimate edition :

Dragon Age Origins the game
Dragon Age Awakening Expansion Pack
The Stone Prisoner Pack
Warden's Keep Pack
Return to Ostagar Pack
Feastday Gifts Pack
The Darkspawn Chronicles
Feastday pranks
Leliana's Song
The Golems of Amgarrak
Witch Hunt Pack

That's just about everything when it comes to Dragon Age Origins.
I'm hoping to see something similar but with Mass Effect 2.

Because ME3 is not available on Steam - a service that is widely known for having frequent massive discounts.

I was talking about Mass Effect 2. Bare in mind that both Mass Effect 1 and 2 are on Steam yet I've not yet seen a discount for any of the DLC for them.

Is there a way of buying the ME DLC on the PC for money? I thought they all cost Bioware points.

Can't get DA2 DLC on sale for the same reason.

You can buy the DLC on the PC through Steam and Origin or directly from Bioware with Bioware Points

ME3, as has been said, is not available on Steam.

Also, ME is not about to release a new title, and so has no reason to encourage late adopters to buy old games at a discount to get them hooked.

As I said before , this is not about buying the actual game which is no more than 2 pounds on ebay , brand new. This is about the DLC's. There is a majority of the Mass Effect player base who never purchased all the DLC's for the game, and here I specify that I'm talking about ME1 and ME2 and definitely not ME3. Some people resort to playing the pirated version of the game just because they simply can't afford to buy the DLC at it's current price.

If you check the forums , there are a lot of people without registered games in the ME1-2 and 3 forums who actively talk about the ME universe yet it's clear that they only possibly bought the game (perhaps , and sometimes not even that) and resorted to downloading the DLC from other sources.

And there's people like me who own DLC's across all platforms but would definitely not mind if we could get ALL DLC's on the most important platform of them all ,which is the PC. I truly find that this is lacking better judgement and that they could be making a nice profit by putting the DLC's up for sale , solo or in bulk for a nice price so that everyone can enjoy the full story. The only DLC I lack out of the whole franchise is OMEGA and i read countless reviews about it and I still believe it's not worth 15$ so there you go. I would however buy that for a quick 5$ just because it's cheap.

Yes in my case Bioware/EA will loose money not offering a better way of getting the DLC. I own the games on xbox but I want to own them on PC too but no way ill get them if i have to pay full price on the DLC years after the game is released.
