How do you Spitfire?

I'm trying to find the perfect combination for the Spitfire. AP mod because the Spitfire sucks against armor...Extended Barrel because I want to squeeze out every ounce of damage from the semi-lame Spitfire as I can...Warp 4 because of the combination of damage and armor weaking.
For those of you who hate flamer as much as I do and run a Spitfire on your flamerless trooper, how do you get the most out of it?

GPS is an ok secondary. Sort of depends on what you are going for, I like Javelin or Black Widow as well.

The best use for it, though, is to unequip it for a Typhoon.

But I run a no-fitness build. I love flamer way too much to spec out of it. Flamer spam can be annoying but it has a lot of uses!

It's sub-optimal, but the idea of a krogan using a massive bloody minigun as a side-arm amuses.

The gun feels like you have infinite bullets no matter who you take it on. I remember researchng it and reading that only a few kits take no speed penalty using it, the Jugg being one.So -- tried it on him (where I usually take the Typhoon). Worked fine, almost as well as the Typhoon on him. Good for the lutz.Sulaco_7 wrote... I like on the destroyer. Yes, you can't move, but you get such a huge magazine. It really feels like you glitched and are shooting infinite bullets.

I understand that it has a lot of ammo...so holding the trigger is mandatory. When you hold the trigger and profit, what mods and attachements are you using? Are you using ultralight materials and assault rifle omni blade with explosive ammo?

Whether you use it on the Tsol, GT, Volus Merc, etc., I'm really interested to know what attachments and ammo types people think make the Spitfire "optimal". Since it already has a 175% modifier against shields/barrier, It needs some serious help against armor. Would the HVB and AP mod with AP ammo 4 be more "optimal" than AP mod and EB with Warp 4?

Explosive ammo has a rep for being useless, even more so on spray-guns (more than useless is possible?) I also wouldn't bother with ultra-light. Omni-blade might be useful for the Jugg but I go more weapon damage (piercing, heavy barrel). Incendiary ammo would be good, also armor piercing (even warp if you have biotics on the team).jrob6 wrote... Are you using ultralight materials and assault rifle omni blade with explosive ammo?
