That's only hipster on BSN.ArgentN7 wrote...
Oh I totally forgot about my Shadow Strike-less N7 Shadow.
In pugs, the player using shadow strike is the hipster, if what I've seen is anything to go by.
At least you play her skillfully (I expect), rather than constantly wallbanging like those scrubs.

On topic, I still haven't seen anyone rock an Asari Adept without Stasis besides me. With a Blood Pack Punisher to boot.
AA without stasis is just a human sentinel...

I can totally understand only putting 3 points in stasis, my AssGuard does this, but skipping it completely is very hipster.Ferocious Panda wrote...

Even with 3 points in it it's still a good phantom killer, and it can save a team-mate from being curb stomped more effectively than throw can, if you're at a significant distance from your downed team-mate.
Skipping rank 6 of fitness, weapon damage, warp or throw to get 3 ranks of stasis might be worth your while.
Nothing wrong with using a rapid fire gun on a kit with warp ammo and warp though, armour DR is almost a non-issue like that.

Wait, the damage combo on CG increases the grenade's damage by 100% if primed for a BE IIRC. Or do you know something I don't know?TchockTckocky wrote...

I am still trying to make the Geth soldier melee build work. It´s a...long process.
I know the feeling. I found GT melee builds to be sort of counterproductive to a cqc playstyle. The reason being you're draining one resource to obtain another (Shields for damage output.) and the only method of acquiring your shields back without another kit is time. There's only so much shieldgate can do. Against one enemy sure, but all it takes is one other ranged enemy and you're screwed. This means your stuck playing the LOS game more than I prefer to in a melee build. Granted they get Fortification and a truckload of shields, but even that doesn't stand up to the cqc pace I usually prefer and can obtain on other kits that are able to regen shields in some fashion.
GI's can sort of counteract that problem with TC, basically dumping aggro onto your teammates for the typical hit'n'run. It works, and gives you more breathing room, but with the lack of that on the GT, once your shields are down, it's a waiting game. An' I ain't got no time fo' that.
Now that being said, I have never played that build with a volus/Geth Turret around either which I could see solving all those problems I just iterated.

What the hell is a Molus??
Melee volus. Not sure which kit it's referring to but I generally make any melee kills on my volgod.
Seeing a Brute killing-blow by volus heavy melee is smirk-worthy. Particularly if it's charging at you then just flumps down. David/Goliath-esque I s'pose.

Should check any build thread were the OP gets flamed. Those are usually hipster builds.
On Topic: flamerless GT, Molus, anything with non-claymore/reegar rare weapon.

It´s my fault for not wanting to give up my javelin GI or fire explosions GE for this experiment.
Right now I am that idiot who runs to Atlas to be grabbed or turns off fortification to boost melee damage and die anyway.

Peen of the Derpire pls. The hipster is the metadversary and the inciteful prankster who's moved beyond simply playing the game to gaming the play. Also, there is no spoon.
...
I'd say any level one build on higher difficulties is hipsterical. Havent done it in a while, but it's a fun way to play on occasion.

Add Cryo ammo for sweet love.
