Stability problem with the Eagle? Wow, that's the first I've heard of that - always felt very accurate and easy to handle for me.

You've got access to great mods - power amp, heavy barrel, melee, piercing...

The hurricane on the other hand is horrible - I only use it with marksman.

Arc pistol is not UR, also that charge, it is annoying. And I have trouble hitting anything with Hurricane on the opposite side of the map in a laggy game with a caster power build. But Eagle works reasonably well. IMO, Hurricane is over-rated as a general remedy for every disease.

Also, some people play U/U/G not just Glacier and Cerberus.

Spitfire the worst UR? What's wrong with you guys? Perfectly stable, fairly accurate and a magazine that lasts one and a half galactic cycles, and if you put some kind of AP or warp ammo on it, it becomes a really good weapon. Immensly fun to use.

Put an elephant on one side of a weigh scale and the spitfire on the other side and the elephant rises into the air.  That's my big beef with the gun.  If i am using a class that doesn't care at all about weght I am usually using soemthing more immediate hard hitting.

Now that that's out of the way, there are no bad Ultra Rares, only people who get frustrated too easily. Take my inability to Spitfire, I can ****** fire but that's beside the point. The point being that I can't use the Spitfire worth a damn. But am I gonna climb to the rooftops and proclaim that it's bad and it should feel bad? No! I'm gonna keep trying to get a better one and try again, cause I've seen peeps with Spitfire X's decimate mooks and bosses only to turn around and do it again.

TL;DR Calm yer ****** and try that gun again.

The problem with the talon is when I want to shoot someone in the face, I do not want to hit their shoulder, chest, head and miss in one shot. I want to shoot them between the eyes and see their brain explode!
If I wanted to bodyshot them, talon is fine. But I don't.

Erm, that's the point - there are no bad URs, but out of all of them which is the worst. Even the worst UR is still a good weapon.

Pistol so you can use pistol mods on it
If you are a biotic you can use the Commando gear giving 12% psitol damage and 12% biotic damage
Very light weight.

It has a lot of things going for it.  If you are using it on a class and have stability issues slap on stability conusmmables.

Pistol mods? Like Heavy Barrel? You can put that on Eagle and use Commando Gear and you'll still be nowhere near the damage output of Hurricane with HCB/HVB and Adaptive War Amp.

And what ammo issues?

There are no truly terrible UR's, each has some redeeming features, but the Valkyrie, Spitfire and Paladin occupy the bottom rungs.

Personally, I have the Scorpion and Indra at ten and both are 'meh' at best. Last week I used that Indra on my level 20 SI and used AP III ammo and overall was underwhelmed at the damage output. Many weapons in the rare pool would outperform it

My error, when I saw Hurricane my head registered Harrier for some dumb reason.  The Hurricane is a great caster gun, my comments about commando gear, and pistol mods still apply.  As for the Eagle, one would need a separte thread about Eagel vs the hurricane if that is the only debate.  This thread seems to be asking what the worst UR is.

It interesting to see how opinions change over time. I like all the URs, but the one I like the least is the Spitfire. It needed a small buff to damage to compensate for the movement, weight, and ramp up penalties. The Eagle seems fairly accurate to me (xbox), maybe it performs differently on other platforms?

When I created a PC account to play ME3, I eagerly opened my Gift Pack hoping to get any UR other than the Eagle. Guess what I got? Eagle. Worst UR in my opinion.

I don't even... In every group of different items ever, one of them was/is ALLWAYS the worst (and one the best). In this case it's (at least for me) BPP very closely followed by Valkyrie.

Try the indra with some tech ammo like disruptor/incendiary and some power to detonate.
With the SI you can try incendiary ammo and detonate with proxy mine. Really effective.
Also, the indra is a headshot weapon like the valiant, it's pretty easy to score 20 headshots with it right before or just after the 25 weapon kills medal, but that also penalizes it vs reapers.

And there's the thing, I also have a CSMG at ten, which does everything you have recommended significantly better than the Indra, and weighs less (although the Indra is not heavy by any means ..)

Also, typically with infiltrators, I focus more on pure weapon damage over combos because of their huge damage boost

I won't argue your point about the CSMG & Hurricane being better. If you claim any other SMG is, I'll have you examined for head trauma.

I think the BPP is at least better than the Spitfire; I've never been able to get respectable damage out of that weapon. The Valkyrie if done properly can be effective due to the headshot bonus it gets. But the Spitfire is a putrid excuse for a minigun and makes me cry when after 200~ shots, something is still alive.
