Probably between the Eagle and the Indra. Never saw the point of those weapons unless I need a primer.

Try the Indra on the Geth Engineer, with HM specced for ROF and accuracy bonuses. It absolutely wrecks face on Platinum.

Meh.

Nice proof that Valkyrie is Gold viable.

In the hands of extremely skilled player...

Valkyrie is pretty underwhelming.
GSF has penalty that is not worth carrying the weapon.

I find BPP has more use than above two at least because it has decent mod options.

Valk is very much a specific kit gun for sure, and in general sure semi gold viable but not a standard issue great gun to use in general, nobody here said it's not "Gold viable" just not very productive in it's use you can get more use out of a mattock than it

I have to say, I really don't get all the Valkyrie hate. Sure, it's not as good as the Harrier apparently, but what AR is? I only have a Valkyrie I, and I'm hardly the best player, but I found it to be quite good, and a very comfortable gun to use. This is on Gold mind you. It's like a semi-automatic headshotter, good at multiple ranges. When I used it, I just slapped some stability on there and went to town. Was easily topping scoreboards, tore through Atlases pretty quickly, destroyed mooks. It was really comfortable to use too. I wouldn't use it on something where cooldown mattered a lot, but on other classes... I just really don't get the hate.

THANK YOU. Someone who finally appreciates this gun! If you're skilled enough to land headshots consistently, then this gun certainly tear the enemy a new as*hole. The BPP and the Spitfire on the other hand...there's no disagreement there, those guns are just awful to the fullest degree.

People who can't aim tend to diss the valkyrie and big up the venom.

One requires just a little bit of aim to make into a good anti infantry weapon. The other is a mediocre weapon even though it requires no aim whatsoever.

Go figure.

Everything is a good anti infantry weapon... The Valkyrie (like the suppressor) can't use its greatest virtue against bosses though, which is why it sucks. The Venom on the other hand, can apply ammo damage 4x so it doesn't suck as bad vs bosses. I took the Valkyrie out for a spin the other night.. on the lolGhost no less, and did quite well with it knocking off fat Collector heads.. but it was simply too much work for to little reward. I actually like the scoped Argus you demonstrated in that video, better than the Valkyrie.

I can tell you the same cool story about using Mattock on Gold. The difference is that the Mattock is a cheap Uncommon gun, but Valkyrie is an Ultra Rare.

Yep, hates Valkyrie = noob who can't aim. Obviously.
Sabre>>>>>>Valkyrie at everything.
I see no reason to carry anti-personel rifle, when I can use a supressor for the same purpose.
Also, what stelth_202 said.

Well, maybe I would use it if it didn't took the slot of PPR, Broophon, Sabre or Harrier.
If it hadn't had recoil and had some boss HS modifier, it would be a great weapon. As it is now, it doesn't deserve it's UR status.
Antipersonel UR AR? No thanks, we already have a mattock, supressor, Hornet and a ton of other options.

Well, we've seen one player showing a 23 minute gold solo with the valkyrie, where's your 23 minute suppressor gold solo?

Or is the valkyrie just a tad better than you'd care to admit?

Feel free to showcase a 23 minute hornet gold solo, or a mattock one too.

Yeah, the small amount of armour DPS gained by the AP round is rendered pointless by its inferiority when it comes to everything else besides ammo consumption.

Well, I suck at soloing.
My fastest gold solo took me 40 min. But whatever, a man should accept the challenge.
As soon as I have a time, I'll atempt gold solo with either weapon and will try to do it in a reasonable time (max near 40). If I fail I eat my words about valkyrie.

For that to make one iota of sense you'd need the same player using the same kit on the same map and even then the control situation won't be the same. Try using the scientific method instead of an epeen ruler. <_<

And no, I'm not dissing the Valkyrie, just your breach of logic.

Where did you see a 23min Gold solo? There are only 9 waves completed in the first vid. And the second is about 37mins long.

Nothing to learn. You yourself recommend a Turian soldier build for it. The gun is a POS for the tremendous inaccuracy it has.

Valkyrie is not a bad gun, but it's nothing spectacular. It's like a less ammo hungry Harrier that loses damage output against bosses and lolbombers. I would appreciate it more if it was lighter so at to not compete with Harrier in weight tier.

Spitfire and BPP both perform rather well DPS-wise, but both have misgivings that make them fail on most kits, and they're not even the best choices available for the kits that they work on. Drop the speed penalty on the spitfire and improve the spread on the BPP, and you would have two excellent URs.

Eagle would be my choice for worst UR. At best, it's a mediocre gun. Its only selling point is its light weight, which is not a huge boon considering it's competing with Acolyte and Talon for the pistol slot. There's no SMG with the utility of these two weapons, so there's really no reason to carry an Eagle for its weight. It's a sidearm in a game where sidearms are prohibitively clunky and slow to switch to, and where there really aren't ammo issues most of the time.

On this forum I saw a link to a Platinum solo with avenger on a human soldier. What does it prove? That with proper skills you can solo Platinum with any weapon (even empty handed if it were possible). "Solo" arguments are pointless. Valkyrie is a POS.

To be fair, he explicitly made a reference to the time taken to complete the solo.
