Sandal can't have a beard because he is Sandal. Varric technically has his beard. Just moved to his chest.

That is the reason he can use magic, he is beardless, you see it isn't the fact that dwarves cannot dream or use magic it;s that they all have beards. The beards are some kind of anti magic.

I just hope Sandal doesn't look like the DA2 rendition; where he has creepy blue eyes. If Sandal did have a beard it wouldn't suit him. He is a youthful savant who most likely isn't concerned with his appearance. Bodahn probably helps dress Sandal and shaves his face.

Bodahn will have been killed between DA2 and Inquisition, and Sandal will return as a grizzled, cigar smoking revenge driven hardass.

Now hopefully he finds a nice lady dwarf to enchant and retire with. I vote Dagna. Cause he's getting too old for this sh**.

I'll take this with a grain of salt and just simply say no. I have suspected that Sandal was half-elf, not half-human. If he's part elf, then no facial hair for him!

I'm not a huge fan of beards, but I'd like some good goatee looks for my male Inquisitors.

Speaking of women with facial hair, ever notice that lady from the Winters mercenary group in DA2? When you go to pick up the viscount's son in DA2, I swear she has straight up five o'clock shadow somehow.

Women...can't have the basic braided ponytail, but we can have facial hair. Even with the default options. I just gotta be careful about choosing any tattoos...
