Load Tips not working [RESOLVED]

I have edited a nwn2_tips.2da file. Screenshot attached.

I have a custom dialog.tlk that works (the first three rows are used to change the text of some items in-game). 

Unfortunately, this is not working in game for the load tips. I see "Clerics" or "Fighters", etc. Items from the default dialog.tlk file, not my custom one. 

What is happening here? What step have I missed? 

This 2DA is stored along with my other modified 2DA files in a HAK. Everything else works. The load tips do not.

Where is the tlk stored? Is it attached to the module as a custom tlk?
Also, on a maybe relative matter,why does my nwn2_tips.2da look like that?

This is the Mask of the Betrayer version of the file. It has a lot more options. The readme explains it pretty well.

Maybe I'll try the simpler version and see if that works.

And yes, the TLK is in the TLK folder and is referenced in the modules as a custom TLK

I went back and checked Andy... the dailog.tlk file wasn't associated with every module.

I would see my custom load tips show up once in a blue moon. Well, what was actually happening is that they were showing up when I was testing the module with the TLK file associated correctly.

I just updated all the modules and it works.

So thanks!

BTW: I recommend the MoTB version of the tips. It allows you to customize when certain tips show up based on a variable for the campaign. And you can weight the tips so some show up more often than others. It's a nice thing.

That's good to know. I was thinking the possibility of having a weird version of the game somehow :). But if you say the MotB ones are these ones, phew :D.

The MotB load tip 2DA has more columns so you can filter the load tips based on the area and the stage in the story.

There is a column where you can specify an area tag. So, that load tip will only appear when that area is loaded (very cool). This means you can make area-specific load tips.

There are also two other columns where you can set a "game state" variable value (these are low and high values). This matches a global variable on the campaign's property page. As you update it throughout your campaign, you can use it in this load 2DA to filter tips to show at specific times.

You can figure it out real fast by reading through the MoTB 2DA and seeing how they set it up.

I am thinking about using it for my campaign, if I can think of some creative things to put in the tips.
