Agreed.Max Dmian wrote...
Talon doesn't have the Harrier's range and DPS. Hurricane suffers from inaccuracy and therefore doesn't have the Harrier's range.
They're all more or less on the same level.
Liking or loving it is perfectly understandable but doesn't make it "less cheap" or significantly "more balanced" than the weapons mentioned.

Do we really need to commend bioware on delivering a fully automatic mattock to ME3 when there are so many more weapons with a much more interesting design (disregard power of the weapon).

The range limitations of those weapons can be mitigated by popping into hard cover when you desire to engage at longer ranges. Most people seem to forget that since soft cover rules the day... But there are advantages to using hard cover from time to time. Learning to use the Punisher on non accuracy kits taught me this... Engaging Primes did also, they're stupidly easy if you use hard cover.

All that and you never use it...
The only thing that keeps the Harrier GI on the shuttle so often is the lack of AR amps... They are my URs. I even get respec cards more than those...

I mean, that's one of its greatest strengths, intended or not - its insane accuracy for a gun that powerful.

True, hard cover helps - but even if you could keep firing from cover without being shot at (which is...not that often), you still wouldn't get the range of a Harrier firing from soft cover.
Also true.

Um, so ... if the Harrier is 'great' then I assume the Reegar is 'greater', isn't it?
I did list balance as one of its key attributes so... No...

Everytime he posts... I read what he says with his special 'mouthful of marbles' accent.
