I'm not a fan of the harrier. I very rarely equip it. I used to use it quite a lot, but ever since I transitioned to using the collector smg and lancer, I've never looked back. Having to spend long periods of time running to and from ammo boxes really held me back and interrupted my flow, the collector smg and lancer do decent damage compared with the harrier, but have a really huge advantage in their unlimited ammo.

The Lancer X is easily the best gun in the game.  It's got high damage, high accuracy (you can snipe from across the map), with the extended thermal clip it doesn't run out of ammo & it sounds awesome.  While everybody wastes time reloading & running to ammo crates constantly  I  mow everything down care free. I hate reloading!

And two of the best weapons are Cerberus. By far the coolest armors are Cerberus. Effin tired of Cerberus having the best stuff.

Love me some Harrier. Easily my favorite AR. Then 2nd would be the Lancer.

I don't like the Harrier. I feel it's essentially a copy and paste of the standard assault rifles in other games. I never really liked assault riffles in general, to bland for my taste.

I love the Saber though. I enjoy rifles that hit hard with fewer shots and can one shot unshielded enemies in the head/ and shielded enemies in two shots. Precision and power, but with a higher rate of fire then that of a sniper rifle.

This game was dying for a good solid AR when the Harrier came along.

Every other weapon category had one or two outstanding examples but, no AR was more than "OK".

I never feel cheap equiping any weapon Banshee don't feel cheap when she throws a warp ball that curves around corners. Praetorian don't feel cheap when it decides on a whim to be immune to all the things. I'm not gonna feel cheap using a weapon that makes it easier to kill things with a gun instead of a box of really heavy rocks.

Please... That Lancer can't hold the Harrier's jockstrapin the DPS department... Or the accuracy department. 

You guys obsessed with the ammo situation just don't get it. You go to the spawn with your full ammo Harrier, kill everything, hit the nearest ammo box, head to the next spawn. It's that easy.

Example: Firebase White.. wipe the entire bottom spawn.. hit the bottom ammo box. Head over to the side ladder, wipe enemies, hit that ammo box, wipe the LZ clean, hit the top ammo box, wipe the inner lab, hit the ammo box at the bottom of the stairs. This is how to mitigate the ammo situation. It has enough ammo in it to wipe a spawn IF your aim doesn't suck. 

Also... You can take an Eagle or Hurricane sidearm for very, very little penalty.
