Thanks your evilness. Unfortunetly though a few ****s usually show up and ask a question about something in the game and put a big spoiler right in the title. That happened to me with ACII.

Instead of banning people for posting what they want to talk about (unless they're trolling of course), and considering that there may be some other users (like myself) who actually want any piece of info they can get including spoilers, they should just include spoiler tags. It's a standard - oh, just about everywhere. I doubt it's difficult to implement.

Ditto,  however I dont think the mods will be fast enough with blatant " OMG Thane Killed **** " Threads (ect) after release.

Therefore I advise (as I am doing) to advoid the forums until completion.    Not that the mods will do a bad job. They simply cant monitor every thread 24/7. Plus im sure these threads will always appear no matter how hard they try to avoid it.       IE the ever hating Trolls!!

Yes, I think with news about leaks and early releases without too much chance of seeing the game before the 29th it's probably best to bow out now.  Reading discussions about what players want to see, or hope to see is one thing, videos released by BioWare themselves - fine, either watch or don't.  Unfortunately though I think the chances of avoiding 'ambushes' and having a game I've been looking forward to enormously ruined is fast approaching zero.

The only thing I want spoiled is the LI's. I tend to rush a game if I don't know who they are (because I adore romance). I'll avoid all other spoilers though.

So true words Caprasia, unfortunately for me im in the UK so our release date is three days later. So even contemplating coming on the site before our release date is nigh-on-suicide for spoilers!

So yes ground zero is quite simply 4 days if you dont want to run any excessive risks!

Theres a spoiler forum for a reason. The majority of us don't want to know story decisions before the game comes out and banning people seems to be the ony way to avoid this. Personally I don't mind if some makes a topic like "stuck, need some help *Major Spoiler*" But some idiots don't put spoiler warnings and even put the spoiler in the title sometimes.

the game doesnt come out til friday over here in the uk, i cant tell ya how many times somebody who gets the game earlier talks about what they think of it and subtlely drop spoilers all over the place, especially those teaser spoilers "wait til you see what happens when they go to *name of place*" drives me mad, its why i usually just swear off reading up on things a week or so before release.

Anything we have officially released and is covered in interviews with staff, videos, etc or is on the Mass Effect website is fine.

why is that stuff ok if it's about story elements? Not everyone has kept up on released info to avoid being spoiled on ANYTHING...I stopped watching any kind of video's after seeing one that spoiled Cerberus rebuilding Shepard.....I wouldn't count gameplay elements spoilers...but anything involving the story IS and shouldn't be allowed.."officially released" or not.

I'm down here in Carson California and my Gamestop is not having a midnight release:(.  Hopefully my Gamestop sees the ME2 launch trailer and reconsiders. :innocent:

Will I still be able to carry over my character from the first game? All of the videos show Shepard as a man but I was a woman?

Why are there so many spoiler topics in this forum? It's safer to go to the ME1 spoiler forums than it is this one.

Yeah he's not doing a very good job keeping this place spoiler free. In fact he's doing the exact opposite of what was said. This place is running wild with Spoilers. I'm just ignoring em though. But a few of em have the spoilers in the title, then say SPOILERS after it like that's supposed to help.

ugh, for once, I think bioware could learn something from bungie. Bungie's forums have numerous mods who are very effective at locking stuff early...
