RE all the spoilers happening at the moment; since this one guy is recreating accounts wouldn't it just be easier to not allow new accounts to be opened for a few more days?



... or if that's not doable, making sure new users can't post without the post being approved by a mod first. You'd have to think that most of the new users would be signing up to get the preorder bonuses, not to use the forums.

Is the current 'strict' ruling on spoilers going to last until Friday at the earliest seeing as that is when I believe it will be out in most countries?

It's too late to implement now, but for future releases it might be nice to have a 'reputation' system that I've seen on other boards. Allow members to vote down spoiler posts and make them unviewable. A user's rep gets low enough and they can't post.

Trouble with that is people abusing it, some sort of 'ignore user' option would work better. Similar to the current 'block' system but have it so if you 'ignore' them you can't see any posts/topics they make.

The game isn't out yet - they've said you won't be able to used codes untill it's you know, released.

Wolf_in_the_meadow go to mass effect 2 website and click on the redeem code it automatically takes you to bioware social network redeem code section but when i put the code in something goes wrong thas what i mean u try it

I don't have a code - it hasn't been released yet. And the codes, if I did have them, wouldn't work untill it had been released. They've made it so codes won't work untill the game is released, as far as I'm aware.
