[Plaintiff]

What does "easily bedded" even mean in this context? They're video game characters, they require no effort from you except that you sit on your fat ass and press buttons.

If you want your romances to be challenging, go on a real date. That **** is hardcore.

I certainly would not ask for less, but on the whole I was very pleased with Fenris's romance, especially with a mage character.
Although, I would like a hug or kiss interaction, available for all romances. Something small, but really amazing nonetheless.

Not DA - but I actually liked sitting down to dinner with Kaidan.

If these romances never had sex cutscenes I would be perfectly happy. Any headcanon I invented would be far better than the clumsy underwear scenes on the screen. Plus - steamy lute music doesn't do much for me.

I would prefer more roleplaying scenarios where I could interact with the character.

I never did that romance.  Glad to hear.  What about the others?

My version of a "Mature" game however - is when the romance is actually integrated into the story and a major part of the narrative.

Wynne's speech about love being inherently selfish and the Warden being greater than selfish desires really resonated with me - as, something similar (minus the Archdeamon, Darkspawn and Joining) really caused a rift in my own life and I made the "wrong" choice ultimately.

I'd like to see things like this happen in a game.

I'd like to see a hero risk sacrificing love for duty - or suffer for risking duty for love - or any million combinations that have been at the very heart of literature since man first chipped into stone.

As they are now - they feel just like tacked on cheap titilation.

Toggles.  Need toggles. 
Fade to black, or extenda scenes for us pixel romance nerds.
Underwear in the shower in real life does happen   It all comes down to how spontaneous it all is in RL.

I honestly feel like if you're going to go ahead and depict it... then go to town and work that M rating.

I feel that Bioware tends to do a very good job on romances, in comparison to other games that I have played. That being said, I agree about the conflict between duty and selfish desire. However, I would also like to see that conflict within our choice of LI. While I could see it pissing people off, I thought it was interesting in how Alistair could choose to "break up" with the PC to take the throne, to serve his duty as king. Forsaking his personal happiness for the sake of others. Heck, even a romance where our LI chooses to die to save the PC would be a nice approach.

Petal bath, while our LI gives you a nice shoulder rub. Then you get to pursue some "extracurricular" activities. None of that fade to black business.

Problem I forsee - is alot of their fanbase isn't as "mature" and go for the the quicker versions aka "cheap titilation".  I realize the limits they are working under - so I appreciate the depth that they do offer for romances.  I still get a sense of companionship so I wouldn't use the words "cheap titilation" myself.
But deeper more mature - Yeah - I'd support this 150%.
To me this is still underlines the need for Bioware to get creative and find a way to monetize mods - in a sort of similar way the Apple store monetizes apps.  Given all the niche tastes, I can't see it working any other way.  The DA world (though a few less crazies and more normal schemers would be nice) and engine is there.

Well if Bioware did go this approach, and the fanbase complained, too bad. I certainly won't shed tears over their supposed outrage and pain.

There are bound to be many lords that swing both ways.
(I'm looking at you, Gaspard)
Diplomacy through sex ---- I like it!
I would actually totally go for this if this was an actual possibility in a situation or two.
