I stuck around to participate in discussions about the romance mechanic, mostly because they inevitably devolve into cesspools of vile bigotry. I persist in the futile hope that the individuals I clash with will eventually either grow brains or die.

I can't breathe hahahahaha :D.

You do realize it's futile though? :P

I just can't help myself.

To be perfectly honest, my main priority is less trying to cure them and more to stop the disease from spreading.

Was that illegal?

Just because I waste my time on the internet on video game forums doesn't mean I also don't use the internet for the information database it was meant to be.

:lol: I have managed to get some people to change their viewpoints on this topic when I discussed it face to face.
But, I find any attempt on the internet to be in vain because until they look you in the eye and see you as a fellow human being, they'll stick to their misguided convictions.

Sometimes I wonder if we should even bother.

In negotiations, I've been known to cover a whole body of topics with unbridled passion.

The woman is almost always very receptive and open to my ideas.

Sometimes it's a rough and messy exchange, but I always leave her satisfied with the terms of the agreement.

She even offers to negotiate further (perhaps even with a larger group of people).

Yep, we always make quite a connection.

If it's any consolation, I think you make a tangeable difference here at BSN.
Cheers.

Easy to translate.

Draco => dragon
Dormiens => dormir => sleep (in french)
nunquam => nun quam => no quand (when in french) => no time => never
titillandus => tittilate

Never tittilate a sleeping dragon.

(Sigh) It's a Harry Potter reference. Which went over everyone's heads....damn. I thought I was being clever with that one.:crying:

@eluvianix: Yes, and while I read Harry Potter - I did not know the reference. So I had to look it up on the internet.

Was that a quasi-affectionate "child" - or a condescending "child"? Not sure.

I don't really care to be perfectly honest. LIs are the least important part of the game for me.

Despite my love of all tolkien-esque fiction, I never managed to get into Harry Potter. I should probably read the books some day.

Option (A), with my Southern drawl included. My accent comes out at times.

Quasi-affectionate. It's part of "Floridian friend" lingo. My Miami-born best friend uses it all the time.

@Masterscribe.
I think Cassandra would be enjoying knocking you down a peg or two after that trumpet serenade. Her eyes did get twinkly, but Cassandra doesn't like her LI getting too cocky.
But it's gonna cost you - that DLC is $25 though even with 1,000 posts plus at BSN.
What ya gonna do ? :)

@eluvianix: Cool - was hoping so.

@Lebdood: the Harry Potter books are FAR more advanced than many people give them credit for.  Her writing was deliberate - and that makes for an artist good at her craft.

Epic fail.  Dohhh!
No Paragon Hug for you.
Is that in the movie?  Haven't read the books.  Saw most of the movies.
Gotta watch the last two yet.

Yeah I meant no disrespect to J.K. Rowling. I just preferred Blizzard and DotA over Harry Potter book reading lol

@zMataxa: Read the books - they're so much better than the movies.

The Potterverse is actually how I see Tevinter in many ways.
