Poor beleaguered you - oh the horrors of being hit on by people of your own gender to whom you can just say no! THE HORROR!

@Lebdood: We'd find "something" - there will always be an us and them.

Sorry for the *Renegade Punch!*

It's not so simple as "sameness" as there is no such thing.

We should find comfort in our differences, not seek to abolish our differences to find comfort.

You know I say that too and you are completely right, but I'm a little tired of having to fight for the right to be different when I have no comfort to begin with.

Bioware needs to follow what saints row 4 did as far as "romances" go.

its a RoMANCE- the player should control the speed and frequency.

ok make it a little bit of effort to begin one like dao. But mass effect failed in the romance department and so did da2.

they need to have the ability to engage romantically and sleep with the person(s) multiple times when in camp- the scene doesn't need to play just fade to black. It makes the player feel like they actually have control over the character.

I think that being like everyone else doesn't stop hate, and that we shouldn't wish anything but happiness on anyone else. And a world were everyone is like everyone sounds godawful.

Yet it still is godawful for some people to be different, and as long as people who are the majority seek to be happy while putting down others, I'll still wish for them to be in my shoes and see the world from my point of view.

It won't ever happen though, so I'm not holding my breath.

No. The last thing I need over another character is control.

I stuck around to participate in discussions about the romance mechanic, mostly because they inevitably devolve into cesspools of vile bigotry. I persist in the futile hope that the individuals I clash with will eventually either grow brains or die.

I can't breathe hahahahaha :D.

You do realize it's futile though? :P

I just can't help myself.

To be perfectly honest, my main priority is less trying to cure them and more to stop the disease from spreading.

And what disease is this? I'm confused.

BTW pansexual is the creepiest thing on earth after "being chased by a savage Alien". Not only all kind of humans, searching for holes in the dead and maybe animals? Nuke this sh*t!

So the ability to love every possible combination and permutation of a person's sexual orientation and gender identity is creepy?

I wish we were all like that. We wouldn't mistreat anyone who wasn't like us because we'd all be the same.

That would be awesome.

I could finally have a threesome with Jasika Nicole and Sarah Paulson (who are both lesbians in real life).

F*** yeah!

I never said that. And I would like to solve my problems without forcing someone to live the type of life that I don't want to live. I would never hurt another because they hurt me. I would never want someone to feel pain simply because I did, especially when they aren't the cause.

"Easily bedded" is a dynamic variable.
At best we would have to rely on "the romance player average" for a guideline.
Essentially, it would be the number of interactions of varying quality to arrive at the game flag of "bedding option" is now unlocked.

But since you don't care, that sorts that out.
I'd ask why you are here - but I'm not sure that would be a cheerful answer either.  Ahh well.

You're probably taking me a little way too literally. I don't want people to suffer like I did, growing up as a closeted homosexual in Lebanon. I want people to understand what it was like.

Some people don't even bother to understand because they say that I shoudn't be this way. Those very same people actively work to destroy my identity and place in this world.

Is it wrong to wish that they would see the world through my eyes for a day and finally understand that I'm just another human being looking to have good life, love, and liberty?

I don't see how it could be.

You do realize that most of us here (speaking for myself obviously) do understand regardless of how we view certain aspects or express ourselves over this site.

Are people actually asking for equality here? Or do they just want everyone to not be allowed to see or think of them any differently then anyone else or face the wrath of the self-rightoues?

Because there is a difference between accepting someone and treating them equal, and expecting equality without any sort of acknowledgment of differences existing, the later of which is more white washing then accepting and coexisting peacefully.

Disagreeing about aspects of a romance isn't bigotry. Arguing against it because "ick" is.

I don't see how it could be.

It's the 21st century. No one needs to see life through your eyes to realise that you are a person. If someone hate you because of your sexual orientation, it's becasue they are a backwards f*ck, not because they don't understand you. They just don't care. In life, we are bound to meet a few asses. It's time to move on, becasue the majority of people I've meet, do not hate people beacuse of their sexual orientation, and I live in South Carolina.
