Also before speaking up OP know you saw the EXTENDED CUT ending not the original one. Until you do you should be quiet.

I saw and like both.

Do you allow me to speak or do you find another "shut-up" reason for me too, Mr. Crimzonart?

Lol, people aren't allowed to have an opinion because you said so. Never change BSN.

LOL...his opinion of our negative perception of the ending us skewed by the fact he has not experienced the original "artistic vision" LOL

Which makes his opinion uninformed and thus, LOL, while valud for him, pretty useless as a point if argument

PS: LOL

And what about fact that some people hate it even if they experienced only EC endings?

Or that original haters still hate it after EC?

I don't wanna bother because from the original topic it sounds like TC is not really aware what was actually happening.

Pretty bold assumption. There is this thing called Youtube.

The same can be said for just about every argument here. Especially those ones where people speculate on motives for certain things.

Your opinion is then an informed one, his is not

You can have an opinion about my people given SOLELY what you have seen in your movies. It would be your opinion and it would be your right to have it but it would be a VERY uninformed one. Were you to make comment about us as a people touting your opinion as valid then I would GLADLY tell you to shut up

You should come to terms with the fact that not everyone is going to hate what you hate.

Blatantly not the case

I am quite sure I do not care one way or the other as long as I am not veiledly called childish or dumb because I happen to disagree on a very uninformed opinion and I happen to call its owner on it

Well if you're okay with telling someone you just met their opinion isn't valid on a hunch that's on you.

You can't really determine whether or not someone's opinion is uninformed based solely on intuition.

Well, you could just pick Destroy if your Shep can live with the consequences and you have enough EMS. He'll live... still won't return in ME4, though.

Why should he? The pre-EC endings are only of historical interest. I get that you suffered some terrible psychological trauma from witnessing them, but that isn't the OP's problem.

That's your opinion. I like the original endings, I'm not the only one. You think that EC makes it better, I don't and the writing of Mass Effect clearly show that the ending wasn't supposed to be like the EC, that wasn't Bioware's intention and they were right when they made it first.

What would this have to do with the OP's opinion?Worst case for him is that he's like you and likes the original ending more than the EC. But he'd stlll like the EC just as much as he ever did. And what do Bio's intentions have to do with anything?

Incidentally, what's the big change in the EC that bothers you. All I saw Bio do was clear out a bunch of bad interpretations.

Oh, right. We're not talking about the game, we're talking about the OP not being able to feel your pain.

I'm still a bit mystified why you lot haven't gotten over the pre-EC endings myself. But I agree that if the OP wants to understand the butthurt he ought to look at the original endings.

Whether or not one thinks they were right with the original ending doesn't really matter, since they obviously saw otherwise.

Sooo i just finished my Mass Effect Triology... from 1-3 and i have just completed mass effect 3 10mins ago...

 I LOVED THE ENDING!!!

It was the best ending i have ever seen in the history of any game i have ever played

i chose the ending where shepard dies and combines synthetic and organics into one :)

it made my cry and i hate the fact shepard died it was really sad.... but i was also happy everyone lived and worked together the ending was amazing....

Why does everyone hate the ending on almost every site i go on and some even have sigs saying things like "dat ending"

i thaught it as brilliant....

One thing though.... i lived and i died with mass effect.... when mass effect 4 comes out... i wont play it.... nothing can convince or change my mind sorry....

withou shepard.... its not a mass effect.... and i couldnt play it... when shepard died.... so did mass effect for me.... in my mind there wont be another mass effect with out her.... LONG LIVE SHEPARD!!

That's a lenghty explinations and varies from person to person but the general short list of reasons:
-Too much forced symbolism (crash landing on random Eden planet)
-Nonsenscal nature of certain scenes (Normandy evac scene)
-The Catalyst revealed as the Reaper overlord
-The Reaper motivations being contrived and pretty close to an outright retcon
-The options all being pretty terrible choices and not matching up to players' roleplaying various shepards
-Reapers
-War assets being poorly implemented
-Certian aspects like synthesis and the level of technology needed to make it work coming out of nowhere.
