No. Nor will you get the option to become an Orlesian cheese maker... naturally, there are limits to the number of choices that can be offered to the player.Lord Raijin wrote...
Will we have the opportunity to choose this option, and give the Inquisitor postion to one of our companions like Cassandra?

The PC is the Inquisitor, just like Hawke was the Champion, the Warden was the Warden, Shepard was Shepard the Spectre, the Dragonborn is the Dragonborn, Geralt is Geralt, etc.
There are some things that are just defined.

They do need to have a decent reason for why you have to become the Inquisitor. I mean, a bit of railroading is inevitable, and ultimately if the player brings a character whose heart is totally set on being a lumberjack then it's their own fault, but you shouldn't have to play a character whose chief desire in life is to be the leader of a paramilitary organisation for the plot to make sense.
I do agree with this. Give us a significantly compelling reason that would cause most, if not all, to abandon other plans to become the Inquisitor.

That's pretty much how DA:O worked, so I wouldn't hold out for that.

For those who don't want to become the leader of an ancient extremely powerful organization to battle demons that threaten the world Bioware will include the option of becoming a turnip farmer instead where you can upgrade your farm with chicken and pigs and battle bugs that threaten your harvest.
Beetleborgs too?

With that money - I was going to open a theater where Bohemians could gather and we'll put on spectacular shows!
It's all very Orleasian - you might not understand.
But it sure beats being a dirty Inquisitor.

It would be great to see this kind of divergence.
Still washing the bitter taste out of my mouth from the mages that went luny while on the road of a more linear story path.

I'm sure the player will be able to ally with whichever he personally sides with - while leaving the other to suffer.
I simply think you won't be able to actively pursue the Mage Templar war.
@Rychen: This man gets it.
Let's open a shop in Val Royaux!

It's probably like becoming the Warden or the Champion, meaning you have no control over it. Either do it or stop playing the game, lol. You can roleplay in your head that you will give the role over to Cassandra or something later so you can lead the mages if it makes you feel better.

That's what I'm thinking too.
I'm just worried it's going to be more like the ME3 war assets room (need as many as you can when you SP) and really the only choice will be like the Geth vs the Quarians (I almost wrote Qunari) - which is more a short cutscene. I'm hoping for more divergence.
But, In a way, I hesitate to wish for as much as Witcher 2 (Iorveth vs ?(oh what's his name). That feel like too much.

This is the perfect opportunity for Bioware to re-invent Thedas however they see fit - they should use it.

But thats what I want to become, an Orlesian cheese maker. Why am I forced to become this big hero that everybody will have to depend on to solve their problems? I was a servant boy in DAO, DA2 and now DA3. All I ever wanted to do in my DA life is to start a business, get married and raise a family, and I've been rejected these things. I just want to make some money and screw everyone else.

What if I wanted the dark spawn to win?
What if I wanted to be an abomination?
What if I did not want to be a spectre?
What if I did not want to be working with Cerberus?
What if I did not want to work with the Alliance?
What if I wanted the reapers to wi.........Oh, we have that one....

Well that sounds like a cliffhanger ending.
And fertile ground for new absorbing instalments.
Sounds great to me.
