Trying to find ways to get my party a little more beefier before having to deal with the Arishok. I ran out of quests and thought that perhaps playing the DLC's will aid me in my endeavors. So, my question is, will playing the DLC's -Mark of the Assassin and Legacy allow for the progression of my party?

Yes, you'll get XP normally from both, they are 2-4 hours apiece. Note that Legacy is particular can be tough.
Also note that you can take your sibling along for these DLCs.
