Hey,
I wonder if Bioware said anything about the economy system?
what about spending your money to increase your influence in certain area?
what about the ability to recruits patrols or something like that?

anything?

Thanks :)

Money you use to buy weapons, potions, armor and other things like this are separated from the resource you use to, let's say, occupy an abandoned fort. For that you'll use agents as a "currency".

They chose to do it this way so that you wouldn't have to chose beween upgrading your character or companions gear and upgrading your influence and Inquisition by occupying forts, colecting certain resources, rebuiling old monuments and other things that would require money.

Basically you'll buy items with gold and upgrade your Inquisition with agents.

They also showed in the leaked demo three different forts. one was a military fort, another a espionage fort and lastly there was a fort devoted to commerce. I'm curious to see what this does to the "Agent Quests" in DAI? Instead of clearing out gas pits will we be able to rebuild bridges so that caravans can travel through?

Possibly.
Some agents may be committed to the commerce aspects of the game.

I think that they will be a limited resource and we'll end up in situations where we either do what we think is right or do the thing that gives us more agents.

Also, we might need to be careful. Using the agent resource in certain areas to much might let us dry when going in other places.

It definitely seems that way but there's also somekind of economy system in DAI, possibly like the Assassin's Creed series where we restored things and had the money go into the bank.

The example provided was the Dagana screenshot on alchemical opportunities from the demo, careful application of the wind spells cleared the area long enough for our massons to construct the caps according to Artficer Dagana specifications.

The area is safe for travel, and our collections have coins flowing into the inquisitions coffers.

10 agents stationed.

So some area's after you clear it and put your agents there, net you a profit but we have to be cautious since they are an expendable resource and we can't do everything according to Darrah so we should choose wisely.

The commerce forts should net us more gold and have more trader's, the military one more soldiers, the espionage one everything that has to due with spies, gathering info, blackmail sabotage etc, it would be nice if we can get a lot more info but it sounds interesting and how much impact it makes.

I believe the best eco system will be gold for personal use, then finding quarries and cut down forests for resources building forts.

This would add great cause and effect ripples.

That forest you cut down to build that fort? It belonged to a dalish clan. Suffice to say, they are now pissed.
That mine you wanted? Too bad, a dwarven coterie has their base there.
... Oh you took that mine by force? Too bad the best espionage agent, the dwarven coterie leader there - got killed and now you cant get that vital info about an attack towards some of your other forts.
That trade caravan you sacked for quick gold? They couldve made great income for your commercial base later on.
