Hello, everyone. I just recently got the ME Trilogy, and have been playing multiplayer for the last few weeks. Out of the characters I have unlocked so far, I've taken a liking to the female Quarian Infiltrator, but the problem is that I can't really make a build that  works for her, and I feel I don't really contribute much to the team. I hope it's not too much to ask, but I need help with a build that will let me at least hold my own on any difficulty against any faction, since I like to play Unknown to ensure it doesn't get repetitive.

I'm still unlocking weapons and gear, but so far, I'm using the Black Widow and Geth Plasma SMG (both at level 1). They work so far, but I'm willing to switch weapons depending on builds.

The Build I use on my Alt account is here
I don't know what Gear or Mods you have available to you

There are many different ways to spec here I like Backfire/Sythetic hacks so spec for it other don't.  Stickeys could be spec higher if you don't do as far for Sabotage.  They can do serious damage if you can hit things with them.

I tend to Cloak - Sabotage - Shoot  Bosses

Melee build in my sig thread is fun, though maybe not the best choice for your first pass.

She is an excellent sniper. Sabotage's backfire effect stops many enemies in their tracks allowing you to headshot very easily.  The power's area of effect aread of effect is sufficient to cover 2-3 mooks at once; if you've got a steady hand on your Black Widow you'll have three kills right quick.

I don't know how your manifest looks like, so I'll just throw in some builds.

BW 66660 Shoot heads of mooks, use Sabotage, if you need a stagger, Sabotage big armor and throw 1-3 Sticky Grenades(make sure you scope in for maximum effect).

Venom 66660
Sabotage and Venom mooks, Sabotage then throw some Sticky Grenades on big armor, shoot rest.

Crusader 66660
(You can go 46664, if you need more fitness.) Basically the same again as above.

Sticky Grenades get a damage bonus from tactical cloak, but their damage is reduced if you have a sniper rifle equipped and are not zooming in (it glitches due to the damage penalty sniper rifles get when you fire them from the hip). Using a shotgun or powerful pistol instead of a sniper rifle will be better if you use grenades often.

Couple builds

Melee/grenadier

Tactical Cloak (5) - Damage bonus, melee bonus

Sticky Grenade (6) - Damage, Capacity, Damage (proximity grenade evo glitches off-host)

Sabotage (6) - Backfire, Explosive Hack (good against geth), Tech Vulnerability (increases damage of your heavy melee, the disruptor blade counts as tech power)

Passives (3)

Fitness (6) - Full melee/power synergy

your melee becomes very powerful when cloaked and with sabotage debuff, just use sabotage immediately before a heavy melee and you'll still get the damage bonus from TC, if that doesn't kill them, the backfire from sabotage might. after getting a heavy melee kill your already strong sticky grenades will get a nice buff.

Sniper

Tactical Cloak (6) - Damage, Melee, Sniper Damage
Sabotage (3 or 4*) - Backfire*
Sticky Grenades (5 or 6*) - Damage, Capacity, Damage*
Passives (6) - Weapon damage, headshots, weapon damage
Fitness (0 or 3)

Use sabotage immediately before shooting an enemy, it will stun weaker targets to make headshots easier, and backfire will kill after if you didn't kill right away, or just set up a second stun to shoot again. Mess around with them as you like and find what suits you. Maybe you want a radius specced sticky grenade for dealing with mobs instead, or more health/shields since you're still new.

Just to clarify, this applies to ammo effects being applied to targets with sticky grenades, not the grenades themselves.

Using disruptor rounds or incendiary rounds on a sticky grenade kit will result in the ammo effect being applied to the target as if you has hit the target with one pellet from your gun, so guns which do a lot of damage with a single pellet will take advantage of this better than low damage high RoF guns will.

You can also get free tech bursts or fire explosions if you stick the grenade directly to your target.

My personal recommendation for the FQI would be the crusader shotgun, sabotage makes the crusader easier to use, and the crusader makes the grenades ammo application more powerful.

46664 FTW.

Sorry for my delay in replying. I was checking to see what I had so far.

https://docs.google....ZFE&usp=sharing

I ignored the characters, since I'm using the female Quarian Infiltrator, but the stuff in red is what I have so far. Right now, I'm farming and buying Arsenal Packs, so I can get weapons, mods, and gear faster, so I don't mind working towards items I may not have in suggested builds.

4/6/6/6/4 for non-sniping

If you're gonna snipe, skip sticky nades. Cloak, sabotage, shoot

might wanna try this
kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#54!3203545!!24W23364!5FEA5

cloak + sabotage to stagger enemies for easy headshots and when you see armored targets do the same and throw nades at it, i would always recommend using inc or disr rounds so your nades will give you fire explosions/tech bursts (just make sure you throw them directly at the enemy^^)

I struggled with her. Finally I decided that lore demanded that she be the only kit with which I use Reegar cheese. B)

Edit: Normally cloak can be used to just cancel the Sabotage cooldown. But I take bonus power on cloak because I like to be able to Sabotage then still sneak up and Reegar while still cloaked. Just a matter of preference.

Of course it's the female, why can't it ever be "Teach me how to play the MQI" and then I can just show them where the RB/R2 button is... Ugh. Anyways:

Sniper Build

- You will do fine no matter which armour bonus you take. The gear is a personal choice as well. The damage is probably less than negligible to the Javelin with Vulnerability VI but it gives me a reason to use it. Feel free to take Geth Scanner, Grenade Capacity, Sniper Amp or whatever tickles yours fancy.
- Backfire is no longer there for damage bonuses, it's a useful stagger power if you need and has it's utilitarian uses (such as momentarily hacking a Turret)
- Any sniper rifle (or even ranged weapons) that you personally can do well with will shine here. Phasic may not be neccessary pre-Platinum, if you're at headshotting you may get away with Disruptor IV.
- This plays exactly how you'd expect a sniper infiltrator to play. If you can use a Sniper GI then don't stray from that playstyle. Adrenaline Mod, Geth Scanner and Sabotage can easily make up the gameplay variance, you won't do as much damage as the GI but it'll be enough and you will have a few grenades at your disposal.

Melee Build

- I'd actually recommend Adrenaline and some kind of Melee Damage gear but this seems like a much safer build to learn from. Also feel free to use any shotgun you like.
- Basically Sabotage, Tac Cloak and ofcourse her passives all boost her Melee Damage so Cloak -> Sabotage -> Melee is a viable and very fun technique. The animation is relatively slow and only the HM gets bonuses rfom Sabotage so be wary of that. You should be able to stun multiple units though. Melee kills are best taken in a hit and run approach when it comes to spawn killing.
- Remember you have a wepaon, a very powerful one (a shotgun on a damage specced Infiltrator). You don't always need to melee. Sometimes playing it safe is the better option. Keep at a distance and spamming Wraith shots is a viable and effective strategy if you feel like 2 ATLASes, a Phantom, a Dragoon and a pair of Engineers is too much for you.
- Also remember that you have grenades, they may not be up to scratch with some of the more popualr grenades but they still pack a punch. Throw a couple into a spawn and you will get a few kills easy. Possibly opening up for some melee.

Close Quarter Weapon's Build

- Actually put an Adrenaline in here but feel free to run Cyclonic.
- Any weapon you can do well with in mid-close range will be good on this build. Just play it as any other infiltrator. Cloak -> Shoot. If you see a spawn grenade it. If they got weak spots shoot'em. Don't forget right hand advantage with this one. And side-strafing (with AM3 you should be able to avoid a fair few hits with simply strafing left and right, just don't do it too much. If there are three Maraduer, find some cover... Also don't forget your dodges.

Note: Sabotage's tech vulnerability debuff actually applies to Sticky Grenades and the Heavy Melee.

EDIT - All these builds will be fine without the high level equipment, though the Melee build MIGHT suffer a tad, though to be honest the damage will still be enough pre-Gold and on Gold it will be fine, a little slower but fine. The snipers: I'd recommend the Mantis over all others when starting out, seriously. Mind you the Incisor can be pretty impressive if you can handle the recoil (easier done with the Stability Mod and stability increasing gear). Though I believe the best sniper build currently available to you will be the Mantis + power damage spec Overload character (Human Engineer for example), phasic and aiming for the head.Just be careful not to spec the usually good neural shock on Rank 5.

I use an all weapon damage build, skip sabotage. The Black Widow is a great weapon for her, it's also what I use.

Sticky Grenades: 4a 5b 6a
TC: 4b
Sabotage: 4b 5a 6b
Quarian Defender: 4b 5a 6b
Fitness:4b

Venom is great with this build. sabotage is useful for making stickies absolutely ridiculous. especially 6b, as u can prime and detonate tech bursts with Disruptor ammo if u can get the sticky ON the actual target (really mows down the big armored targets)

not my build idea, and if I'm stating this wrong consult Leland Gaunt for the right info ;P

I run 6/0/6/6/6 on her (that's her on the left in my avatar by the way), but I seem to be the only person on this site who doesn't like sticky grenades (I just can't seem to hit anything with them, and in general I don't like grenade classes). And sabotage is just hilarious against geth and Cerberus, and still a decent stagger tool and damage dealer against others.

This is my build. I skip sabotage because I can't find it useful. Stickies for un-shielded armor or if I need to get out of a tough situation. I like the BW on her because I can go headshot crazy. I would use the Javelin on her if I could headshot with it, but I can't.

I don't see the point in skipping sabotage. If all you want is sticky grenades, then why not just use the human infiltrator?
